If he played in the EPL he would be highly spoken of. Southgate only scout in the top 6 EPL teams while there are more talented English players all over the European leagues. Portugal, France and England. But I feel for what England have they don't deliver. I feel there is so much tension and fear in what they want to do, or perhaps I should say too much rigidity in principles, But if they take a real Madrid and Brazillian mentality. Play with more freedom and less care for consequences especially for your creative players like Saka, Foden and Maddison, Jude. Make them feel they can lose a ball 800 times and it won't matter then I bet England would get more achievements

It’s amazing how dismissive people are of Portugal - the team that have won every game since the World Cup. That has a very hungry young team with a very strong well balanced midfield, a defence consisting of experience speed strength, and a front 3 that’s frightening.

Portugal🇵🇹 is impeccable and underrated. Germany🇩🇪 has a great talent, Toni Kroos is back and Julian Nagelsmann is one of the best coaches in my opinion. In actual fact, I think even Netherlands🇳🇱 and Belgium🇧🇪 might be a threat to England🏴 at this point based on their game against Brazil🇧🇷.
The team just lost a game to Brazilian B team. Yes, I am aware that their key players were unavailable but the team that was playing against Brazil was still the best pool of players from their A team.
I really want England to win something because I think they have THEEE best players and this has been the case for a couple of years now. It must be heartbreaking for the players and fans to keep losing the finals, semifinals and quarterfinals.
If they don’t win the Euros, Gareth Southgate is the problem because the lads are doing so well in their respective clubs, they are all humble and have an amazing friendship/relationship which is required in a team’s sport.❤️🇿🇦

I'm finally accepting it now. Joel doesn't know ball, never has. Rio watches the game so he speaks differently and maybe in contrast it makes the rest seem lost. But it's like Joel's never watched a game. Moussa Dembele shouldn't be remotely shocking to anyone who's watched him for him for 90min. I'm not even a Spurs fan but Modric made Dembele seem like he wasn't as good as he was. He was a conductor himself

Walker is a worker and I think that no one in England understands that Carvajal could race with the *best* of them. Marcelo outshon him because he's got those extra things but Dani is a prime example of a steady, hard tackling right back with a good overlap and a quality cross.

I love how close the England lads are now. To hear hem say they can't wait for the camps is class. Credit to Southgate and the staff for creating it that environment. Having said that, it's what happens on the pitch that counts and thus far Southgate is underperforming in this area. This group has the capability to win stuff and I'm worried we may miss our chance with him at the helm.
On the flip side, reaching a final and a semi-final of two major tournaments are not to be understated. Southgate has given us fans some unforgettable summers. Additionally, previous managers of greater tactical nous found reaching the latter stages of the biennial competitions illusive. I'm more optimistic than I ever have been supporting my country so that's something I guess.

As an Arsenal fan I've always said Demebele was one of the most underrated players of all time. He was absolutely unplayable. He didn't get the career he deserved.
He is still young, 26 is barely prime age but I doubt he is able to improve his finishing, it is like he is cursed, every move looks like Messi but when the ball leaves his foot u wake up... he would do so much better if he would just focus on assists.

No, you need Gallagher in the center and not a double 6 with three in the back. Ad Stones in the back 4 and start Gallagher and Rice in the center. Foden and Saka have to play, so you start Foden as the 10. Saka, Foden, Grealish and Kane in the front is lethal.
@@k.2754 Gallagher brings energy to the team. But his technique is not enough to keep the ball. Bellingham is more mature with the ball. And his energy for box to box role is quite decent. You can't play proper possession football with Gallagher, at least for now. The main problem is in the back. Maguire needs to step up for general defender role.
Southgate is incapable of such tactics.

No one thinks to ask why Walker thinks he left, or fell out with Pep. Is he a temperamental player or just unlucky, i.e. hard to understand or get along with?
1. He has lost his place with Portugal at a crucial time when they needed him most because Ronaldo is one of the best in The box players, heading or making runs in between defenders. Yet Portugal went with Dalot.
2. Fell out of favour at Bayern.
3. Completely lost his place at City, sold mid-season, during a title run in, when City had no alternative to him at left back.
France, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria............. Oh yeah nearly forgot the main hurdle.......... Southgate !!!!!!! The Hype has started early this year.
