New shop air hose reel from Walmart of all places

- One of my hose reels has been annoying me and is now leaking so I needed to replace it. Picked up a Hypertough from Walmart to replace it.

No problem. I have been using it more than the Harbor Freight one just because it's closer to where I am working most of the time and it's been great with no issues at all. I usually remove that rubber hose stop just because it's clunky but you have to pay attention that you don't let it spool up on it's own as you will be rewinding the spring. Yes been there done that and had to buy a new spring once...

Do you do have the whip? I just moved my unit and the whip split during the move. Finding a whip with 3/8 fittings is proving difficult...
Mine came with a whip and I ended up using it to replace the hose on my portable air tank. Northern tool usually has them and Amazon should have as well.
My shop is so small I haven’t felt the need for a hose reel. I spose it could be mounted under the bench next to the compressor.
Well the old one was leaking so bad that I couldn't finish filming the rest of my previous video of the rotisserie so I might as well film the hose reel. And at $30 less(when I bought it) than the HF one I already have IMO it's the best bang for the buck out there.
What are thoughts to this day? Ran into any issues?
No issues with it at all and I use it more than the harbor freight one. I was wanting another reel but Walmart raised the price a bunch and right now I'd go with the yellow Harbor Freight one as it's $20 cheaper when it's been on sale lately. Only bad part with the hf one is that is doesn't come with a whip to hook it to your hard lines.
that is from Walmart own tool line they own. all made in china. they also have the hart and frontier lines.

Well as red green said "If the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy." Could be adapted for my videos... :) If there was a way to put in all the I forgot this or I lost that or I broke this while putting it in my videos would take a week to watch...
