Derrick fue una de las sorpresas de esta edición, este joven músico abrió nuestro festival inundo de buena música el teatro desde el minuto 1, Derrick es uno de los bateristas más demandados para giras de gran peso y no es para menos, Derrick derrocho una clase magistral de groove, clase, técnica, y sobre todo musicalidad., Wright vino bien acompañado por Quennell Gaskin pianista que le acompaña en varias de sus giras.

Derrick was one of the surprises of this edition. This young musician opened our festival and flooded the theatre of good music and vibrations since first minute.
Derrick Wright is one of the most solicited drummers for big worldwide tours and he showed us a master class of groove, class, technique, and most of all, musicality.
He came well accompanied for the great Quennell Gaskin, keyboardist who travel with him on several of his tours.
We are so grateful to have had this great musician in TamTam Drumfest.

Comes from a very musically talented family. His brother DW Wright who plays bass and his brother pastor Derrick Wright who plays organ and his father who was one of greatest and most innovative gospel singers and writers of all time.
