100%. ETH needs at least (at least) another season. But no manager will make Utd EPL championships whilst the Glazers are still at the club.

Half of the players that need to go are players this guy signed himself. There needs to be a rebuild mess that’s been created since he came in. The issues we have this season are more tactical anyway. The players are not as bad as this season suggests. He just doesn’t pick the right players or use the best tactics

    • @michiel8600

A new manager will delay things. ETH has not had a chance to implement his l-t view. He has been kicked around between "team injuries" and troubles at the Top Management of this club. Give him another year. To be honest 1 year is not enough, because an overhaul is due. Who do you need to sustain a turnaround from buying players from other clubs for 90 million or building your own new generation of players like they have done at Ajax for decennia? I prefer a l-t approach focussing on youth. Once you get the average age to 25, you will have a future. Luke Shaw has been an example. Never let the team down. But you have to make a plan for the future, an organic flow-through from youth players.

The United way is determination, togetherness, fighting together for the win. I saw that with Robbo, Whiteside, Hughes, Remi etc, all the way through to Scholes, Keane, Rooney. I haven't seen the United way for some time. It's not about winning titles or champions league it's about desire. Time to show some!!

The classic Manchester United way is being together United, being entertained, being given back performances and successes that the fans are so dearly devoted to help support from all walks of life.
Anyone associated with the club is expected to fulfil their duty, honour and privilege in their association with the club whether it is a manager, player, fan, chairman, director, ceo, tea lady, kitman and so many more. Our greatest successes are not just our achievements but also our togetherness of the past.

We can't sell every poor player no one want's to pay for many these midtable player's
So it will take at least 3 more transfer windows to get a change to capable resiliant player's plus another couple of duds every team has that problem.
The off field Dramas hopefully have gone.
Get rid of Sancho with a pay back contract if he does well.
      Greenwood finally cleared out.
Fresh Start lets not get dragged down with the Drama and wasted wages and transfer fees. Move on.

The glaziers have taken 1.1 billion quid out of mufc , and there is no way that they will pay for another stadium. Sir Jim won't pay for it , so where is the money going to come from. It'll end up with a patch and mend solution because it's the cheapest option. If any fans still believe that there's going to be a brand new stadium they are going to be very disappointed because there isn't any money for one thanks to the Glazer's greed.

    • @niftyvidy
      @niftyvidy Před 21 dnem +3

Strategic governance at this level doesn’t exactly work that way. Agreed, the Glazers still retain ultimate control however, Jim would have contractual agreements limiting the glazers’ ability to withdraw dividends. Secondly, if you read the SEC filings made as part of the share sale, Jim has the first call for purchasing future shares from the Glazer family members going forward, as the ultimate goal of his acquisition is to gain full control, otherwise he won’t be able to realize his investment return in the market to the full extent. Lastly, not sure which venture capitalists you’re referring to as there is no significant (greater than 5%) ownership of shares by a VC firm. VCs look for growth investment in emerging markets, not established markets or established companies who have already made their IPO. Cheers.

Sacking the manager cannot be the solution. Its been over 10 years of rot, players being the boss and over paid sulky kids. Yes, hes made one or two dodgy purchases but so has every other manager we have had. The iffy players are what he inherited, the injuries are woeful but look at the future - Mainoo, Garnacho the futures bright. I didn't want Ratcliffe, i wanted the Qatari money ( very shallow ) but the changes structurally Ratcliffe has done is spot on i feel.

The Glazers said they started this process well over a year ago now to look for financial alternatives to help the club. They then pocketed 100s of millions of the INEOS money for themselves. Why isn't the British media asking them if that money will be put back into the club? Instead they will concentrate on taking pops at Ten Hag. There IS money there to rebuild stadium, it's just that the Glazers pocketed it. Shows us everything we already knew.

    Christian Eriksen
    Jadon Sancho
    Mason Greenwood
    Antony

The Glazers don't care as long as they keep getting their cut. I agree why would Jim put too much of his own money in if he is just contributing to the Glazers wealth. A new stand would be into the billions. Unless you crowd fund that. Not much will happen for a while.
Lazy players collecting a pay cheque is endemic at Man Utd. We need keen younger players on bonus type contracts. Performance contracts. No work, no pay.
Exactly what I have been saying Ineos in. All talk. No do. The Summer will show the intent. If there is suddenly a rush of improvements. Changes for the better. Big player movements. And for me Ten Hag on the bus out. Then I might have some belief. At the moment I am still sceptical.
The biggest problem with players in and out. Who wants our rubbish. Money to buy in. Unless City get hammered for their financial breeches. It will be City, Arsenal. And maybe Liverpool at the top for years to come.

    Players I would keep
Gk Onana settling down now I'd keep good shot stopper Improving slowly
Cb martinez captain material beast of a defender
Cb kambwalla good young strong keep
Dalot player of the season for me improving alot still needs to improve
On some aspects but done well.
Manioo Lad has so much talent its scary class player and only 18.
Garnancho still not seen the best of him yet he's 19 wait till he fills out gets stronger he will improve massively has it all fast good movement and good shot skillfull.
Amad diallo definitely keep talented winger
Hoijlund give this man more service he will score goals All day long. Young will improve
Bruno captain just has it all playing well at the moment just needs to get players going more shout order about
    Definitely keep
Pellestri keep lad at least deserves a full season in the prem lad is obviously talented like amad.
Malacia give him another season had awful luck with injuries.
Mason mount keep give him another season if no improvement sell on.
Ambrabat keep good squad player especially at cdm dmc good tackler.
    Rest I would get rid
    Varane already going
    Martial gone
    Mctominay sell
Maguire sell use has back up until we find a club for him.
Wan bissaka he's just not worked out sell back to Palace minimum 20 million.
Lindelof did OK but I think it's time we moved him on.
Anthony just hasn't worked out frustrating player 30 million sell
Sancho get him gone 50 million minimum hasn't worked out
    Casemiro sell go Saudi league
    Hannibal sell
Shaw too injury prone get 30 million I would be happy
Greenwood 70 million max use the money to bring in better
Rashford love the lad but he's becoming a petulant child and needs moving on he looks like he would rather be elsewhere isn't fighting for his place he's brand rashford not player rashford if you want to challenge city arsenal pool in the coming years we can't have hangers on we need everyone in sync I think sell get 60 for him I don't think we would get anymore for him. If you want a lolly you have to go to ice cream parlor for the quality ones that meads you have to find one thats open and has what you want. So draw in your horns let them get on with the job because it will take time unlike buying something from a shop. This is special and it needs proper planning and hopefully all those interested will be brought in and asked what they think. Some of the fans representatives as well as managers and if they have any sense the reps will have a building background and know what is being put before them and have the right questions to ask. That has been the problem before listening to fans who think its just a problem of getting the right players and its fixed. Your so wrong its unbelievable your not going into a shop for sweeties.
