- Hey my love sunny friends! Lets Party! Cant party without a Pinata can we? Today I am showing you how I made this easy diy pinata with things you can mostly find around your house. You can make the pinata in any shape or size you want, and it is completely customizable in color and literally every aspect. this just gives you a general idea how you can make one too! These can be used for parties or literally just decor to hang in your room! Sooo, Let's do this!!

Where did you get the template of the heart. I really wanted to make this for my baby gender reveal
I actually just made my own. You can use a free photo editing app like Canva or Ribbet and they both have stock hearts on there that you can just print out a large image of for a stencil.

My husband and I are wanting to make a heart piñata for a gender reveal also (that’s how I came across your video). What did you end up filling it up with? Thanks for the video, I think I’ll start working on mine this weekend! (We have the ultrasound in 2 weeks and I think we may break the piñata while we are in Hawaii- leaving the day after our ultrasound)
Katie Clay Katie Clay I used the same streamer I used to cover the piñata, in this case it was for a girl so I just used some of the leftover pink streamer and I cut it into little confetti squares about an inch big. Filled it about half full just enough so you could tell the color good! You could also use some kind of colored candy or even cut up tissue paper to make confetti out of it!

While constructing it you can attach a ribbon or string in the top middle of the heart where the two halves meet as youre taping it together. I suggest securing your string good though so it can withstand some good hits!

It would have turned out way better but I didn't make the piñata large enough and it fell apart with one hit!!! But this was great fun to make and great fun to see her enjoy the sweets. This was really thoughtful in my opinion... after all, you do remind us to make sure we have a strong enough piñata.. lol

Thanks, they are super easy to make and its super easy to make them literally into any shape you want! I made a zombie head one time for a birthday party it was crazy!

Would it be easy enough for small kids to bust it?
I had 2 small children hitting this one and it was kind of difficult to bust, so I would definitely use very minimal tape on the bottom half especially where they will be hitting it so it will fall apart easier when hit.
