If you don’t have flour pancake mix works great. Regular printer paper works as well, but you only need 2 layers for it.

How is it when the piñata breaks since the bottom doesn’t open like store bought piñatas? Does the whole thing fall and the only thing intact is the string that was holding it up?

Can we substitute the newspaper with anything else? It's hard to find it nowadays.
