- Subtitle: running all the instruments through the Infinite Jets.
Laurie Brown has been Canada's guide to less typical sounds for over a decade with the Signal. She's just launched her first independent podcast, Pondercast, and local good-guy Joshua Van Tassel is responsible for scoring it. One thing led to another.
For part one, we focused on capturing a whole pile of audio sources and transforming them. So come along and see what the Infinite Jets can do to a box of Cheerios.

Your videos always look like a page in an iSpy book and I really dig that aesthetic
I always wonder what Milly is short for, if anything. Mildred? Milicent?
In my case my actual name is Amelia but I've heard it for Mildred more often.
WHERE IS PART 2 ???? I'm dying over here
I love everything about this so very much. The amount of time in post you guys must've spent...good lord...nice work!!!!
Wow, beautiful video! Looking forward to part 2
these videos are so good on so many levels
Amazing. Looking forward to the next ep.
Ordered this pedal today! BEFORE seeing the video. Now I am even more excited. Knobs videos are the best.
Fabulous, looking forward to the rest
everything is so perfect about this video
I really like your channel...
But this is head & shoulders above anything I've seen from you thus far! I really dig the comedic aspects! Thank you :]
this is fantastic!
This was a treat.
The face of Knobs has been revealed! I knew he couldn't be human!
Where is part two? Can't wait to hear the completed project!
Dude 🔥🔥🔥 love this!
Whoa! I love Laurie and The Signal! Def a surprise to see this :)
I listen to The Signal whenever I'm driving around late at night. Sets a good mood
inyojelly It was a staple of my late nights working at a crepe restaurant.
Amazing video!
Very inspiring sound design session. Also, pedal must be had NOW!
LAURIE BROWN YESSS. This is also so amazing.
super cool!
Awesome content
Well, this is fun!
Just great. Now I want a vibraphone. Thanks, Knobs.
And now I need a Wurlitzer, shit.
This Guy is a sound's genius :)
Great pls do more
Nice use of the Therevox ET-4!
Inspiring
holy shit i need this
Glorious. And expensive.
Did you connect the Infinite Jets to your audio interface for post-production?
If so, how did you connect it?
I use the Jets on steel guitar a lot. It's gorgeous!
Awesome video!
What microphone is that?
This dude has so many cool instruments.
Supreme Basement Envy.
YESSSSS!!!
What about getting the glitchyness to sync to drums?
I think the dog was my favorite.
Man I need this pedal! I just don't know if my budget allows it right now. Will this be the last run or are you gonna make more? Also, what mic did you use here? Thanks!
Mic is a Neumann SM 69
Does anyone have any tips for tackling pedal noise?
Amazing. What mic did you guys use for this??
It's a Neumann SM69 FET
Josh's dog sounds more terrifying than the hound of the Baskervilles after processing! I've gotta get this thing.
So part two using the Hologram Microcosm?
esto es genial.
¡Verdad pura compay!
Uh why is there no part 2, Knobs?
Bon Iver Box. :)
Part 2 is in the vanishing cloud of our merry little wishes...
genius
Very nice. on the vibraphone you must've been listening to Radian. and Joshua needs to get himself something from Morfbeats.
Oooommmmggg
Please demo the GFI System Specular Tempus 😁
Have anyone seen my mind? It just blew away. I need it, as I have a test on thursday.
I want to crawl inside that pedal and never leave
the ppl demand part 2
the wurli got me ..
USM 69I mt? Too bad the Jets isn't stereo amiripe?
Close! It's a vintage SM 69 FET. We'll be using two IJ's for some stereo processing next!
Merci. And you use it pretty much on everything, don't you?
Yes we did!
It's bad enough how Knobsi ruins my finances. His sense for collabs with inspiring people that also use inspiring stuff only increases the effect. Please stop it, no, dont stop. But please stop.
elephant bells
Please make video on Korg Miku stomp!
Wow, what can't this thing do? I gotta get off this channel before my Christmas list gets ridiculous.
There hasn't been one video I haven't liked
Cool! I don't get it
This....
Well isn't this just fucking knifty
World class sound design. I just don't like the pedal.
