Thank you Patrick, great words. Our company (RePower Canada Inc.) is focused on this process and our results support this work. We are an energy consulting firm that delivers a unique product to our clients, honesty!
In our first year, we have reached over 20 clients, been nominated for the 2009 Green Business Award in our community (we find out if we win Nov 11) and have been interviewed for a local business newpaper. We are passionate about our clients and our results.
Quite inspirational. Based in Botswana, studying through Regenesys (final year BBA). They recommended your article. Am I glad I followed up the link. Lots more enriching stuff where that comes from. Passion. Inspiration. And what companies are built on. In marketing they call it Value Proposition = delivering on a promise (of our - and maybe the only - reason for our existence as a company). End result? Solutions done on time and within budget = satisfied customer. Successful companies KNOW this
And this is just what I've been trying to make my students understand. It's not just about layoffs, redundancies, relocation, pay cuts... It's not about those "innovative" strategies! Loved your video.
Man ive looked at all ur video's and uve realy helped me. I just got offerd a new job, and im using ur vision to change the company's overal performance, and goals.
Passion my friend! thanks
I heard a lot of change management - on e more new fashion... I hate it. But you make it sound human, so thank you!
simply a great person
thanks
Yes - leadership styles vary but passion matters. Patrick Dixon
Very inspirational.. especially the part about why you wake up to go to work
nice video about one of the important skills leadership
FANTASTIC!
I hear you completely, this is great :) thank you for sharing..
What I don't get (yet) is how to instil passion into those who lack it. I know its has to do with communication and I'll figure it out somehow..
PS: Cook Islands (a group of tropical islands in the South Pacific just north of New Zealand - a few dots on an atlas). Cheers,,
Thanks for your kind comments on the change management video. Change management is really about using common sense but some have tried to turn it into the latest management fad. Patrick Dixon
Thanks for the great comments on change management - a really interesting debate on important issues. And thanks to others too for your comments on my others videos which many tens of thousands will read with interest over the next months.... Do share your insights and thoughts - and remember to tell us which country you live in.... I read every comment and reply where I can...
Thank you for the video. Is there a Part 2 where you speak of what else it takes once the passion is there?
Thanks for this - yes the quality of video images recorded on the day is far from brilliant - but the video has been seen around 200,000 times - for reasons which are to me unclear! Any thoughts on this paradox?
simply great way thanks
Excellent!
Thanks for your kind comments about shareholder value etc. Patrick Dixon
Glad you enjoy the videos. I just think it courteous to try to reply if I can, as I would to an e-mail. It is interesting to hear people's own thoughts and insights. But with almost 12 million users of my various sites I only manage to reply to some. Patrick
Thnx for sharing such tyoe of helpful stuffs..
@naamaWCS Thanks for your really encouraging comments - enjoy the other 499 of my videos...
Delighted for you to quote anything! Thanks for the encouragement. Enjoy the other 500 videos on my channel...

Thanks - glad you liked this management video. Patrick
Thanks - comments on change management is part of a longer presentation and really needs to be watched in context. You will find a whole one hour presentation on change management on google if you type in dixon change management video. Enjoy. Patrick
Thanks - I really appreciate your kind comments. Patrick
Very passionate video.. I like it .. Keep sharing..
Jonathan Tichich Thanks Jonathan...
Passion is infectious - you can't invent it in yourself. Discover what you are passionate about, share it and others will (usually) get it. Life's too short to do things you don't believe in.
@tbointernational Thanks!
I am yet to come across anyone who speaks of change without having any anger. Somehow the two (change and anger) go together.
160,000 views on this change management video - much to my surprise. I quickly edited this 9 minute clip from a one hour session to business leaders of a techno firm called Dimension Data in South Africa. Glad it has been received so well.
@resumeserviceplus Thanks - enjoy the rest of my videos on change management - see my channel.
What would you recommend if you're brought into a company and have to work with management who you can neither convince or have the power to change but have strong opinions of what the existing management are doing is absolutely wrong!
way to go
mahmmoud saeed Thanks.
@asadorbhati Thanks!
Promise with Passion and you will deliver performance with profit.
@taranoreable Thanks!
@survivorsidharrth Thanks!
Well companies are finding that if they are unkind and unsympathetic to their customers they get flamed with negative comments online and elsewhere with big damage to their brands.... and they also lose staff, as people don't want to work for nasty companies.
@anshumansingh81 Thanks very much!
