Nice one mate, great video
Thanks brother old one remixed.
Great set of kit there mate!
Thanks buddy 😘
Bosh, like it. Clean and simple. Is this for a specific race? If so which one? I'm currently doing a very similar video for the Arc of Attrition which requires a lot more as it's in the middle of winter! Interesting to compare kit requirements for differing distances and times of year. Great work Lee, good to see you back.
This was a the canum flat 40 mile canal hence the vapourfly 😂😂😂
Appreciate this! Doing a local 50k in May & I wanted to start choosing my gear nice and early so I have time to hunt for bargains/second hand items.
I love Injinjis but switched to Hilly Twin Skins as I was getting blisters on the side of my foot, and they've been great so far. I might try an injinji liner under another sock too.
I highly recommend Decathlon for decent kit on a budget. Love their Evadict and Kalenji clothes, and my first vest was their cheapest Evadict one (it was under £30!)
I used it all of last year inc half marathon training. Really comfy even for longer runs - there were a few niggles (mildly annoying side straps, lining of one pocket came away) and it only held 2x250mls up front, but it had a great stretchy back pocket that held a 500ml flask I could access on the move. Great beginner vest for a crazy price.
Recently switched to a Harrier Kinder 10l vest for ultra training, which I got for about £60 on sale - absolutely love it! It comes in tons of sizes and I found it fitted me better than the pricier Salomon one I tried. I do miss the stretchy back pocket from my Decathlon vest though!
I also really tecommend the Janji Rainrunner waterproof. It's far more breathable than the last jacket I had and super lightweight/easy to stow away.
It is pricey (mine was a gift) but I really love it!
Decathlon have some good kit, I'm yet to try harrier will have to give them a try
Good stuff mate... thanks for sharing !
No problem thanks for watching
Hey Lee, was that you who in a video spoke about not needing to actually drink so much water during a marathon, that sometimes just swishing it around you mouth is enough??
Didn't say about swishing but for anything upto 1hour run nobody needs to take any water ❤
@@leerunsultras Oh totally agree!! Hope you’re still enjoying your 496 challenge ! Did you see you inspired Trail Running Phil to do the same thing?? You’ve inspired a few of us!!!
@bev9708 yes we are in contact regularly ❤ it's only.gling to get tougher 😂
@@leerunsultras YES, yesterday I told him it's still just the beginning, and he said he's never run more than 10 days in a row before!!!😲😂😂 That made me laugh, if it's true he's in for a shock!!😂
I saw that video too, I can't remember who it was....
