This is the second Mario Kart track that I have decided to overhaul once again! I think I might do the entire soundtrack (in order and of course if it's possible for me to do it, as many samples are not yet found.) This is definitely one of the quickest restorations that I've made yet, using the same process as the Title Screen restoration I did yesterday.
Some of the main things I have changed with my process:
- Sampling most of the instruments properly to get the right sound (example: sampling F#6 of the Acoustic Piano patch instead of just putting the TRITON on like I usually would
- Using FL Studio's Level Scaling option (when applicable) to make pitch bends sound as accurate as possible
- Comparing my track with the original (This sounds like it would be common sense, but I guess not for me as I didn't always do this)
