  • Kevin Barnett shows you how to create custom cabinets with CNC precision.
    Testing and iterative design along with experimentation are key. Once you establish working elements of your first couple projects. Those elements can be copy and pasted to subsequent builds.
    With Shapeoko, the possibilities for customization are endless.

    I appreciate that you included the bed guides file. that's such a good idea! It should be incorporated straight into Carbide Create though!

    Do you guys have a video on cutting more hybrid table MDF slats/inserts/boards for S5P (4x4)? I'd like to cut some more but I'm unsure if I should design them myself or if you have available files/drawings.

      @carbide3d  Před rokem

      We do have available drawings. Drop a line to support@carbide3D.com and ask for the PDF.

    I’m kind of surprised this video didn’t include any mention of the gantry shift on the S5. You’d figure it would be awesome for cabs

    What type of plywood is that? Baltic birch? Did you screw into the end grain?

    • @carbide3d
      @carbide3d  Před 6 měsíci

      Yes it’s baltic birch. And yes, we did glue and screw the ends together.

    Custom cabinet prices are actually very low actually because material cost, working hour cost, shipping, taxes 450$ is very cheap for this. :D but pretty nice job man. I love it.

    Looks like a great machine, unfortunately the delivery to Australia is very expensive…. Why?

    • @carbide3d
      @carbide3d  Před 11 měsíci

      Because you're a long way away and Fedex/UPS charge a lot to get large, heavy packages there. We don't have much control over shipping rates; we just beg for price reductions every few months.
