in my darkest hours i wanted to give up. i was hooked on heroin and i hated life. in that moment i dropped to my knees and begged the Lord for a way out of darkness i was trapped in. it wasnt very long after that i given an chance to move away from my home town and start over. i took it and it changed my life. God answered my prayers in a big way. i am off the drugs for almost 4 years and blessed with great friends. i try to always be thankful for every day the Good Lord gives me and i am proud to call Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior.
On June 28th my wife of 27 yrs had a massive stroke and she is completely bed ridden. God must have been felling me struggling because this song popped up on tic tok and it hit home so hard. Still fighting with disability but I will get through with God's plan.
In sickness and in health. God and Jesus are with us . 😊🎉❤
I've gone from losing my mother at 18, to 7 years homeless on the streets, a bottle a night alcoholic, and denied five times for my dream of joining the military. Now I have my own place with a loving dog and family and friends that have my back. Faith, hope, and will power has gotten me through a decade of struggle. Now I've made it my mission to help others so they don't go through the same hell.

Man I was into methamphetamine for 13 years, and on November 14th 2017, I finally threw it all away. The music was a trigger in a way as well, but this is what I needed the whole time. Great lyrics and some Jesus, it doesn’t get better! Cant wait to hear more brother! Much love!

Oh when I read your comment I almost started crying for Joy! I got two children on meth. I never did meth BUT I was on opiates and heroin at the end and guess what it will be 8 years clean this NOVEMBER 14th for real the same date as you! I did lose my youngest son to the battle, but he was saved and he loved Jesus so much he had just gotten re baptized 3 weeks before he passed away. I know God answered my prayers I always prayed GOD please don't take any of my children before they know you and their spirit is ready. And he escaped death so many times its only been two months and man its killing me I love and miss him so much. I don't know how to go through this but one second at a time with Jesus he said you WILL have trouble in this life but he will be with us through them all. I know its true or I would not be here right now, I would be next to my son. But I do have three other children and I am still praying for the other two to get off that junk. I HATE drugs I hate what it does to people and families. Keep on going and fighting the good fight and PRAISE your way through it WORKS! Trust me.

@@carolyndemello5127 I'm right here with you. Struggling so hard with life and numbing myself with both of those. I have no one to help me fight for myself when I can't even fight for myself. All my life I've been the one Child in my entire family whose had their life together with no criminal or drug issues or convictions. I raised my siblings due to both of my parents addiction and abandonment. I got emancipated by the state at 16 yrs old and have been my own support my whole life. When I met my daughter's father and he abused both my daughter and I in the most evil way and has manipulated the system into getting away with it all and making me into be the toxic person whose unstable and etc. No one would look or listen to any of my evidence or anything. I've been dealing with this for 8 yrs and stuck inside a prison in my head of dissociation from his mental and emotional abuse. Self medicating and escaping. Multiple suicide attempts and just going through program after program with no real help and support. I've never felt so alone in my life. I'm still trying to get up each day to fight all I can to get through all of this by myself. My little girl needs me and I need me. You can do it girl. I'm right here for you

No matter how good you think you have it or you think others may have it, there is always times that you want to give up because it's to hard. Everything has a high and a low. We cherish the highs and fear or regret the lows. But I have noticed in my life that the more we put into our faith. The more we believe that God has a plan. The more we quit thinking me and start thinking we the more things come together.
I have been Christian all of my life. Even when I know I was doing wrong I was a Christian. I can't change the things that I did in the past, good or bad. All I can do is thank God for getting me through them, and for picking me up and using the talents that he has given me to help others. To bring joy to the lives of those who can't see it now, but may see it with a little hope.
