    If you input a quadratic how do you get the second value for x?

    • @SaujanyaPoudel-hx2xh
      @SaujanyaPoudel-hx2xh Před 4 měsíci +3

      You hit equal second time or you can press the down key.

      Edit: I thought you were talking about the dedicated quadratic solver. Well yes, when you type in a quadratic and hit solve the calculator asks you to put a guess value. It starts at your guess value to work out the solution closest to that guess value. To get both solutions (one at a time) you can first put a very negative number e.g -50 this will return the root having smaller value. You can then put a very positive value e.g +50 to get the root of larger value.

    Hello Sir, can this calculator perform the solve function with derivatives or integrals present? Such as solving for when a derivative equals 0? Thanks

      @TheCalculatorGuide  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Yes you can but it is in the silver mode in Equation now, rather than calculate. Hopefully video soon.

      @@TheCalculatorGuide Thank you for the swift answer! Would you happen to have any knowledge on the Casio fx-JP900CW, the Japanese version of the Casio fx-991CW? I am curious as the whether or not the Japanese version has an English mode - I know the Casio fx-JP900 (Japanese version of Casio fx-991EX) has an English mode. I am interested as I hear the Japanese models have a periodic table, among other features.

    Hello sir, can you please explain how to solve equations that have more than one root, thank you

    • @SaujanyaPoudel-hx2xh
      @SaujanyaPoudel-hx2xh Před 18 dny +1

      To solve a polynomials for example x^2+2x-3=0 (roots are 1 and -3)you type it in and hit solve. The calculator asks you to input a 'guess value' and works out the solution closest to guess value. Let's say you input -10 in first try, the calculator starts at -10 and gives the nearest solution x= -3 Then you input +10 in 2nd try and therefore get the nearest solution x=1. In summary you input a very negative and very positive guess value to get multiple solutions.

    is there a way to convert the answer you get from the solver from decimal form to fraction

    • @SaujanyaPoudel-hx2xh
      @SaujanyaPoudel-hx2xh Před 18 dny +1

      The answer derived in solver is stored in the variable (let's say you got a solution of x=4.765) You can go back to Calculate and recall the variable i.e input an x on the screen and hit equal and now you can use format to change it like usual.

      You missed my point Mr. Brilliant. Even he used a physical version of the calculator I can easily race him and solve it faster in my 991 ES plus that's because the Es plus is easy to use doesn't require you to change modes to solve an equation (Unless the equation is time consuming to solve at which point he will have an advantage of better processer speed)
