OUR STORY:
John and Kristina purchased a 50ft Jeanneau Sun Odyssey with just a few weeks sailing experience. They set sail from Melbourne and travelled up the East Coast of Australia to the Great Barrier Reef as part of their Australian Sailing Series with dreams of one day sailing the world.

Being from Texas, USA, I never heard of the Whitsundays Islands until I started watching your channel. I really enjoy the adventures you guys share with us and your positive attitude about life. The Whitsundays are definitely now on my bucket list to experience because of you! It looks absolutely beautiful!

I am a follower of the other 3 channels but your video just had something that stood out from the other channels.I’m having trouble putting it in words but visually,to the eye is beautiful.
Love watching the both of you living your best lives :-)! You're both so positive and it's a privilage to watch you both! It must be interesting going from Turcana to that cat like you said it's a floating hotel, they're great and lovely for living but they're not built to be particularly seaworthy🙂! This isn't to say there aren't seaworthy cats too, but you need to pay for it - Dazcat, Mumby, Chriswhite's designs, etc. etc. Those beaches look amazing! Great look out too - complete with the impressive lethal/scary Aussie bush wildlife:-)! As always looking forward to the next video!
Hey guys great to see you having so much fun on a big catamaran which as you said Katrina, is just so different from a monohull boat. This was ahort but fun video & great to see other You tubers having a happy time with you & of course, I think of Ryans's other half stuck back on the other side of the world babysitting their dog on their boat but I am sure that she is making the most of being tied up at a marina with shore power & now she can also handle the tender by herself so good on her. At the end of the video you guys looked deep in thought about your future & holidays & boats I am sure. I am certain that you will not rush anything. However, it was good to enjoy other like-minded company & have plenty of laughs. I am still getting used to John with a short beard length & short hair. I wonder how long that will last??? Cheers guys & love.

Wow the boat is amazing! I bet that feels massive compared to Tocanna? Whitehaven wow! Can certainly see why they've voted it No.1 The waves on the way looked a bit rough though lol. Those spiders loooked really big - are they poisonous?? The view from the top though must have been well worth it! Have a great week guys!
Nara inlet is great. And you can get your own muscles off the rocks and an Aboriginal cave after a short steep walk up to it

The cocktails and beer were free flowing, although I stuck to peppermint teas (most of the time) haha
I think you should keep on sailing the world, +you should keep on with the travel blog, you can mix both, there are a lot of cool towns and cities that have a Marina, with amazing places to tourist, Lisboa, Oporto, Malaga, Lagos, Abufeira, Canarias, and so on, you don’t even know how hard was for me to plan a trip to some of those places. it will be great if you can do it so.

I have to tell you. I've been trying to watch all of your boating adventures in order and have been having a really hard time with it. I'm not very computer savvy but I do notice that people (I think?) are stealing your content which makes it very difficult to figure out where I am in the series. I know that you are so busy but it would help a lot of us if we could just know what you're actual content is and how to proceed in order, ya know, babies. But I loves youse. You make me happy every morning when I'm waking up and drinking my tea. Be safe.

Beautiful area … A Lagoon 450 i heard her say , isnt that the ones with the junk bulkheads / poor / cheap construction methods. They are not even worth $100.00 any more since the word got out.
Fact Check - A proportion of the vessels required strengthening of the forward bulkheads. All genuine cases of vessels (not caught in cyclones or hurricanes) were fixed by Lagoon under warranty and via a recall. Happy to share the superb retro fit of the bulkhead if you're interested, but the results are amazing and the vessel sound, sea worthy and in commercial charter. There are some hysterics out there, (seen and read many), but the reality and after sales service from Lagoon is unquestionable. PS: At $100, I'd buy everyone on the planet 😅😅😂😂
