Hell yeah it's true. I'm rewatching the show after a few years, and I forgot how hilarious (at least) was the season 1. S2-S3 reduced its intensity but yeah, they're awesome. I started rewatching S4-S6 now

Dan Harmon admitted she was a bit of a generic character the way he wrote her at first, he liked how she became more of a weirdo ad the show went on
Alex Cregan I rather have this Britta then how she became. She was generic but she still had a rebellious side but it wasn’t chaotic with no purpose. She still had a purpose from what she did.

This scene highlights a pretty interesting dynamic: Whereas Pierce's bigotry arises mostly from ignorance, Shirley's bigotry interestingly comes from fear and superiority.
Yeah, I would definitely say that saying an entire group of people tend to be more violent, is infinitely more racist (and basically leads to fascism); than thinking people of the same race tend to look the same lol, that's actually a common phenomenon if you aren't raised in a multiracial place.
Also, Troy sneezing like a girl is adorable, and it's weird how they say it like that's a bad thing, I guess doing anything like a girl is a downgrade to them 😒

People like Pierce like to feign ignorance because changing their bigotry is uncomfortable, but admitting to it is also uncomfortable.

Everyone was equal crazy by season 2-3. The crazier ones normalized, the normal ones got crazier.

I usually use the "that's racist!" clip, thats what got me started on the show. Tho admittedly as much as i like that scene its wouldnt even make it to my top 10 after watching the entire show. That's how good Community was.

What makes the sneeze weirder is that it felt like Glover was trying to slightly deepen his voice when he was playing Jock Troy.

Is no one going to talk about how Annie changed her mind about the class once Troy said he's taking it? Adorable
Their whole arc in early seasons was she was crushing on him and desperate for him to notice her for years in high school, and they ended up growing as people and ultimately lived together with Abed. There's nothing to talk about, in the sense it's not like it's something hidden no one noticed.
What I loved was the lil “Aw he’s so cute” expression at 1:16 after he talked about Jafar.
It’s the little details that keep this show alive.

It's like that on the streaming versions of S1E3 too, presumably they just threw a random number into the script and didn't sync it up.
The CZcams channel uses 25 FPS PAL clips instead of the 24 FPS NTSC version. I'm guessing whoever they pay to run the channel must be in Europe or something.

It's not just Robin Williams, though. I think a lot of comedians who make the leap from stand-up and TV to starring in their own movies try to build film careers that reflect the major themes in their particular style of comedy, and are therefore susceptible to the same predictable tropes appearing in their movies repeatedly over time: Robin Williams had the anti-authority 'spark of madness' angle, Adam Sandler fell into the 'immature loser' romantic comedy role, Jim Carrey played characters that were cartoonishly crazy, and so on. That's why, when they successfully pull off more serious roles (One Hour Photo, Uncut Gems, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind), it can be particularly impressive-- they're known for a certain brand of comedy, and suddenly they're doing something completely against type that shows off acting skills we haven't seen from them.
