This skit is actually pretty dam clever. They really seemed to have captured lightning in a bottle with this show. The writers and actors are all dam near perfect for there roles.

Anthony Medina pre much everyone did but Jeff and Britta. Think there’s a joke about it in season 6 where Jeff and Britta are talking about how the marvel movies weren’t all that. Cause they didn’t cameo in them 😂

@@drea94 Yeah man, most oscar nominated films are bland AF. That is not to say that all of them are bad or anything but they almost all follow a similar set of tropes and are often pretty generic. You can sometimes find the weird stuff in the obscure category noms but its pretty slim pickings if you want the weird and funny.

Community is literally the only show where im totally okay with the placement ads. They needed the money, and also didn't sell out because they made the show kinda focus around it, and still be funny

Introspection practice: What would Abed’s tapes sound like if he were driving home with you?
community is probably the most self-aware show ever, and that is because of the character of Abed. if Abec wasn't in the group, there could not be self-aware monologues about their lives actually being a sitcon like abed says in many episodes, like with the timeline thing or even more in the very last episode. this mini-clip is once again a proof of the self-awareness of the show, abed acting like he is in a commercial and therefore not in real life.
The Dean's sheer look of terror when he hears his tie compared to a collar is amazing. The "he knows" of it all!
