Hes the Best
I agree
Perfect description of Jacob!
Omg he is
Well said
I would totally see Marry Poppins: The Revenge
I worked midnight security here for 3 years. There's a reason people travel from all over to visit THF. So much to see, including the village, and it's all a completely different experience alone in the dead of night.
@@KatMusic2009 I was thinking the same thing. 😁
I remember watching into the woods and the adaptation of Cinderella in that movie was the most faithful adaptation to the original brothers Grimm story Disney has ever done, it is so worth the watch. In the Bothers Grimm the slippers were not glass they were gold.
Jacob you do such a good job in showing Museums! 🌟thank you!
Jacob, I'm still receiving new subs coming from your channel after I appeared on your Gatlinburg video last week...Thank you so much!!! Stay safe everyone...Come visit Gatlinburg TN...*after new yrs 😂it's crazy
Thanks for always sharing your adventures with us! Stay safe out there!
Yeah stay safe out there!!
Never been to Michigan but threw the eyes 👀 of carpetbagger video the Henry Ford museum would be on my bucket list and the Motown museum as well. Thanks for another exciting adventure Jacob.🙂 Stay awesome.
As A Person From Michigan I Can Tell You Some Things I Know Because My Memory Is Like A Microwaved Potato, There's A Couple Of Museums, Mainly Car Museums, The Mackinac (I think I spelt it right?) Bridge Combining The Glove From The Upper Peninsula Is Big And Amazing
I grew up in metro Detroit. That museum is a treasure. You need to do the village
I actually work at this museum in particular and I’m glad someone is able to show the costumes for people who can’t visit in person. 😊
That Indiana Toll road post card was awesome actually. Brought back the memories big time
@The_Carpetbagger liar
Thank you Jacob We're all. Sick at my house, and your videos are interesting and help make the time pass on a Good note. HAPPY NEW YEAR from Tammy in PA
Michigander here. My absolute favorite museum..Greenfield Village is part of Henry Ford ..
I didn't know they had this display and would have loved to meet you while you were here in my home state. I am about 30 minutes away from Dearborn and Detroit ..hope you were here for the better weather after 3-4 days last week ; the driving was horrible from all the ice and snowy conditions .. we had a WHITE CHRISTMAS but now we have ALL MUD
Ah, A fellow Michigander
There's alot clumps of dried(ish) mud from the road I live on being paved, so, I know what you mean
Omg, omg… Disney Museum! I’d think miles upon miles of car museums. Cool adventure find. Merry Christmastime 🎄💝
Love this museum! You do such an amazing job! Thank you for sharing your adventures with us! Hugs and best wishes to you and Jenn for a Happy and Healthy New Year 💖
Kennedy's Limo always had a "Removable" roof.
It was a sunny day in Texas so they decided to take the roof off and well you know the rest of the story.
Willys is a brand of car and Gasser is a type of dragster.
I took my wife there earlier this summer. There's a nice small museum in flint mi called the sloan. There's also a planetarium there.
Just what I needed for a friday afternoon as we approach the end of the year :) thank you Jacob for all your work and love in what you do :)
Thanks Jacob! You and Jenn have a wonderful New Year 🎇🎉🥳❣️
Really a lot to see. Loved the old autos.
i love to see the henry ford museum.
Oh my gosh! The Cinderella dress from Once, which is my favorite show. Thank you so much for posting this adventure. ♥️ So many awesome costumes!
Hope you had a merry Christmas! The Henry Ford museum was my childhood hope you love my home state! Love you Jacob!
“Marry Poppins-The Revenge”, I would watch that. Lol
A Willy's gasser is a drag racing vehicle that obviously burned gasoline. Ohio George was one of my boyhood heroes. Willy was the make of the automobile. Good vlog Jacob! I enjoyed it!
neat to see the two most famous carpet bags together
You’re in my hometown. I live less than 10 minutes from there. I’m so happy. I’ll admit I haven’t been there in years, but I love it.
Thank you for going to this. I was wanting to see this and you've helped!
Jake is the Bob Ross of museum tours. Hope you have a Happy New Year and get to do the U.S. Highway Route 1 road trip next year.
I remember Into the Woods where Prince charming said he was raised or taught to be charming but not faithful.
😆😆😆 Awesome singing scene with Prince Charming.
The vintage race car with the two mannequins that you featured at the beginning of the Driven to Win exhibit is Henry Ford's first race car. He is the mannequin depicted in the driver's seat, the other fellow was the mechanic. He raced his own car after his first company had failed; winning the race helped give him publicity and helped him start his second company.
Man that hallmark ornament exhibit would have been AMAZING to see! Glad you got to see everything you wanted plus make a new moldarama!
I'd totally wear the Evil stepmother dress! Nice shade hat too! Stylish. Wish more people would wear fun styles like that! ❤️ 😍 💖
😊 that museum has some amazing stuff and secrets about who played that character
I know people who live in Dearborn. How cool. It is a location I have always wanted to visit.
Another great vlog. Jacob a fantastic museum.. Wonderfull costumes.. Love seeing the fairy godmother costume as worn by Miss Whitney.. XX
I'm from Germany and I'm very happy about the virtual tours from you. Thank you very much for that...love your videos
Saw this in person. I loved the Cinderella dress comparisons and was blown away by the Enchanted wedding dress up close. Also loved the conceptual sketches.
I love the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. Jacob, if you're still in Detroit you might want to stop by Cranbrook museum of Institute of Science in Bloomfield Hills. They're also several museums in Detroit such as the Science museum, Detroit Institute of Art and Detroit History museum.
I second this, especially Cranbrook!
Love the answering machine ornament
Wow that is a very cool exhibit. Such a wide range. I grew up watching Roger and Hammerstein Cinderella with Brady and Whitney Houston. It is the only live action I recognize.
As a disney fan i really appreciate and love this vlog. Hope an exhibit like this comes close to where i live
Good to see you back in Michigan Jacob. The Demimax home should be revisited as a possible means of resolving the affordable housing problem.
Those ornaments were apparently donated to the museum recently. There is supposed to be 7,000 of them total.
One of these days I wanna go here.
So wonderful to see you in my home town of Dearborn, Michigan, which I grew up in in the 1960's 1970's. Graduated from Dearborn High School in 1975!!! My brother owned our family house in Dearborn, Michigan after our Mom died in 1987 until 2021, when he died of cancer in October!!! We have been to the Museum, the Village n I performed the court scene in the Crucible at the Henry Ford Mansion in high school in 1974, in a showcase of the best theatre performances in that year throughout the state!! Definitely great that you went to the Museum. You MUST video the Village for us, as it is awesome!! We did the Halloween Haunt at Greenfield Village two years in a row in 2018 n 2019, n it is fabulous!!! Love your videos. Glad to have you back after Christmas ⛄🎄. Happy New Year, Carpetbagger n Jenny Penny!!!
I grew up there! I miss going to the museum and Greenfield Village!
Such a wonderful place Mr Carpetbagger! THANK YOU!!!!
I remember when just about every Holiday Inn sign looked like that one. Where does the time go?
I love going to the Henry Ford and Greenfield Village. We live only 45 minutes away but do not go, nearly often enough.
I saw those costumes when they came to Seattle Washington at MOPOP. Spent 15 minutes just looking at Belle's ballgown from Beauty and the Beast.
Astounding exhibit
27:47 this steam engine looks very similar to the one used in the movie The Polar Express which is one of my favorite holiday movies of all time and it really gets me in the Christmas Spirit
Love the museum!!!
I live a hour away from the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village.
I have a Annual pass and go there at least once a month.
24:09 - I built a 1943 Willy's Gasser model car kit and I won the first place senior trophy sponsored at the TG&Y store. It was the only trophy I ever won! I didn't know that they made them in the 30's too.
how exciting looked like such fun
Great 👍 Tour, Jacob! Also love that you enjoy MOLD-A-RAMA wax figurines. NOTE: We still have an answering machine on our land phone line at home. WONDERFUL commentary from you on the Disney costumes. You’re just so funny. We appreciate you. Thank you!
Sorcerer's Apprentice is a fun movie 🍿🎥😁
Jacob, thank you for making my day a little better.
Return to Oz is an underrated classic. I didn't care for the newest OZ film though. Watch out for those Wheelers, CB!
Thanks for taking us along on your visit to the museum. Loved that exhibit!
I agree with you about Return to Oz. It is more of a horror movie and very good. My daughter also loves it and would watch it frequently starting from about the age of 8 when we first saw it.
I live in the area. This is also my favorite museum in Michigan. DIA and Detroit Historical Society close seconds. So many great options. Also just visited museum at Selfridge Air Base. Great tour. Thanks.
Now when you’re at Driven to Win and you see the Sweepstakes at 23:13, the two people on the vehicle is Henry Ford himself and his friend “Spider”. They were the ones who drive the vehicle and it was Henry’s first and only win. 😅 just a cool note.
I only ever read the book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but that was waaaay back in grade school. So, for Christmas, I bought myself the box set of seven books that make up the Chronicles of Narnia. I got some reading to do. lol..
I was just there yesterday. I thought it was a gold mine for your plastic figures.
They will be doing a Disney exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia starting in Feb!!!
Thank you for bringing back some childhood memories. Can’t wait for you to go to Greenfield Village
Thank you for being who you are!!! I look forward to seeing notifications from you or Jen when a new CZcams video is posted!!!! Definitely me more wonderful videos from people like you. Stay safe and healthy
I saw you there. Was going to say hi but you were gone. Hope you had a great visit.
this was so much fun I never knew this existed ! Thank you so much so glad to have you back ...much ❤ ❤
I recommend the art of Disney costuming book, you find most of those costumes there
Thank you for such a delightful tour of this great museum. Very Happy New Year to you and yours!
Love the video, nice to see you in the area. If you are still in town, please check out the newly opened "Michigan Museum of Horror" in nearby Monroe, MI! Looks right up your alley.
Great Video.
Welcome back to Michigan J
Lovin it 💖
I wonder if some of those suits are going to the Disney 100 exhibition, which is starting at the Franklin Institute in my neck of the woods, come the new year
Thank you for you videos!!
They’ve helped me during 2020 and still help me today ! Thank you 🙏🏽
I want more chickens!😢
And please, no bears on chairs!
Jacob, you should come to Greenfield Village during the Motor Muster (Father’s Day) or during Halloween Nights which is obviously up your alley, but you MUST buy tickets for that months in advance, just as a heads up. You’ll love it either way. Wish I could have run into you at the Henry Ford! I walk it every single week with my dad (a lifelong Dearborn resident) during the Winter time! Love your content so much!!
Make Every New Year Your BEST New Year EVER, CB, and be aware where you park your car!!
Happy New Year 2023🥂🍾🎉🎊🥳
Captain Barbossa is the best , I love him , and Geoffrey Rush too
the Willies is an actual type of car my mother use to have one made out of several different Willies cars put together by a couple of mechanics they are relatively rare. I think Willies was their own company before they were finally bought out by Jeep.
Hope you have a safe and wonderful New Year 🥳🎉🎆
Drinkin game, take a shot each time Jacob says Willys Gasser. Whoever lives, wins!
I wanted to go so bad lol My sister went though and sent me video of the Beauty and the Beast costumes since it's my favorite movie. ❤️ Love this museum.
Thanks for that existential crisis at the end. LOL
THANK YOU !!! Happy New Year from South Africa !!! xoxoxoxo
thank you
Wish I had known u were going to be there Jacob. It would've been awesome to have met you. I am Bummed!!
You were so very close to my dominion and you didn't stop and say hi? lol If you were here before Wednesday, it makes sense your eyes were freezing shut in the parking lot. I definately need to swing by "The Henry Ford"before this display is gone.
Not sure if your going to be in kichigan long but there is a new horror museum that has opened in Monroe, MI. Seems right up your alley. Love the content.
I may have never been made aware of this new horror museum without your comment. Thank you, from a fellow Michigan resident! 😊
Great video as always!
Dumbo is actually the only live action Disney remake that I kinda liked. Still has Tim Burton flair, & changes the story a bit.
Yes. I liked that it was different from the cartoon. Most live action remakes seem exact replicas of the cartoons. And Tim Burton rocks.
Love the Lego figures, specially Jack Skellington
The museum hours are 9-5 pm daily
So jealous you get to go see all the wonderful places! But thank you for bringing them to CZcams where people like me who can’t afford to go to these places. Otherwise I’d never get to see them. And bc of you, I am actually making plans to go to the curiosities and oddities expo! And I’ll be ordering the opossum pin also. Big pin collector here! Much love
Hope u have a great 2023 Jacob 🎆
Please visit Belle Isle in Detroit. It's an incredible place. They have a historic aquarium that is free to enter!
wish I would have known you were there. You are only a couple miles from my house.
