    The problem with this style of play that Lebron plays is that he dominates the ball so much that most players can not find a proper rhythm within the game.

      David Halley I've been saying the exact same thing I couldn't agree more what kills me is these guys on TV say Philadelphia should not sign him because he's bald dominant and Ben Simmons won't have the ball in his hands and the other players won't be able to play but the clap Cavaliers have such terrible players that he has no help but no it's because he's bald dominant and he Hogs the ball and exactly what you said nobody can get into a rhythm of any kind game 3 of the finals the first three quarters Cavaliers teammates were playing good scoring a lot of points in the 4th quarter he just took over had turnovers missed shots and he lost game three for them Cavaliers will be at least an 8 seed without him

    Lebron isn't overrated, but he gets waaay too much credit. He only knows one system of basketball, the "Lebron System", where he pretty much has the ball in his hands 24/7. Every team he leaves, plays like shit after he leaves because they build players around "his system". So ofc when he's not on the floor the system fails and the players look like shit. When Jordan step off the court, did the bulls play like shit? When Kobe stepped off the court, did the lakers play like shit? When Tim Ducan stepped off the court, did the Spurs play like shit? The answer is no, because they were part of an actual basketball system. (LJ) He's a glorified stat padder, that's why Kyrie left, he wanted to be part of an actual basketball system if you're a star player, playing with Lebron is gonna to limit your potential because he's so fucking ball dominant and if you're not willing to be a spot up shooter his way basketball doesn't work, hell, the Cavs don't even practice frfr. In fact, it only shows how great Kyrie actually was for the simple fact he was able to avg such a superb stat line with Lebron, because normally players numbers dip dramatically playing with him while his continue to increase.
    Lebron belittles (Not verbally, ego wise) his teammates and he views himself as King and you are his pawns. You play around him, if you can't. You're getting traded or he'll ignore you. Kyrie is just as skilled as Lebron James and that's something Lebron didn't want to accept. Although Kyrie doesn't view himself as some self-proclaimed King, Kyrie is his own man and doesn't need to be "lead" for him to create his own path and that's a sign of a real King.
    This is something Lebron James fans can't accept, they'll call me a hater and what not, but I don't care because I watch basketball and I love the game. LJ is a top 5 player no doubt, but I don't allow media narrative to play an influence on who I view as the goat, something which has effected alot of people watching the game today...

    • @se7enzee444
      @se7enzee444 Před 6 lety +2

      1) Lebron never played with a great PG.
      2) Kyrie left because he mainly wanted to be the man and wanted more credit for winning.
      3) You can throw out all the systems. The best one is the one that leads to winning.
      4) It's not easy being Lebron's teammates. But if you are mentally strong and play well under pressure, you will get the opportunities to showcase your talents. Kyrie, Wade, Bosh, Tristan and JR did pretty well right? KLove had his chances but failed.

    • @syrtyce
      @syrtyce Před 6 lety +12

      Number 3 makes no sense because plenty of systems have lead to winning
      Far as Number 4, all you need to do is see Bosh how he was before Miami, while Lebron was there and how he played after Leborn before his health issues. His rebounding (of all things) went DOWN with Lebron and you'd think those would at least stay on pace. Same thing with Love
      It's good he developed a jumper but why would one under utilize a talent as his(Bosh) unless they're bullheaded??

    • @swaggedout1995
      @swaggedout1995 Před 6 lety +4

      se7en Zee 1. Kyrie is a great PG
      2. No he wanted out due to off the court non sense. At no point in time has it been proven he wants to be the man.
      3. Makes little to no sense
      4. Still doesn’t negate the original points about the “system” Lebron’s teammates play in

    I think Lebstat will pad his scoring next season. He will still get 7 or 8 assists but he will try to average at least 33 to show he can score more in a season than MJ and the main reason will be to catch Kareem asap. Stat padding comes first for him because it's easier than winning chips! Still won't be goat cuz goats don't continuously quit on teamates!!!

  • @michaelhunt6885
    @michaelhunt6885 Před 6 lety +16

    The reason Lebron doesn't want to play without the basketball, is because there is more pressure in taking and making spot up shots. Knocking down open shots has always been some what pressurized. Therefore it is easier to have the ball passing it to others to put the pressure on them to make shots verses him taking spot up shots.

    Actually when you look at it, why would a guy on the rise or a player who had his own drawls want to play with him? He hogs the ball; plays only one way; needs everything based upon him or else he doesn't win; plus he'll lose at the highest levels more than he wins. Plus, here's how this will go with James: 1. He comes into the press conference trying to leave things open. 2. Team has to adjust to one another 3. Needs a new coach or some trades. 4. If trade or coaching change happens needs time to adjust. 5. Everyone has to conform to James while he depletes his teammates. 6. If they do not win the title, he has no real help.

  • @Dustin_Love

    • @Jsimm100
      @Jsimm100 Před 6 lety +2

      +Tj I've been telling people this for at least the past 3 years if LeBron goes West he will get exposed on top of wearing himself out. You know he gonna try to play 40 min a a game on top of the physicality in the West on a nightly bases is going to wear his body down and make him prone to more injuries. All things he wasn't accustomed to in the East.

    • @khaliyl21
      @khaliyl21 Před 6 lety +2

      Jsimm100 lol what physicality in the west?? Denver? Portland? Phoenix? GSW? Sacramento? Houston? Dallas? LAC? Minnesota? Memphis?
      Only OKC, UTAH and SAS play a physical brand of basketball. The east is more PHYSICAL than the west. Numbers are inflated in the west cuz teams dont play no damn defense out there. Better talent overall in the west but definitely not more physical. GSW best team the western conference has to offer and lebron has put up dominant numbers on them the last 4 years in the finals.

      True, the guy never grew up, and his ability does not bring enough to the table to earn him an alibi to overlook his personality. I don't think the guy can fake it while on the clock just for the sake of keeping the peace and knowing where his next check will be coming from.

      I get what you mean. I've always thought he was the best center in the league, but somehow he never fulfilled his potential. Man he should be averaging 25 pts a game, 10+ rebounds, 3+ blocks a game at least if he fulfilled his potential. I guess he just was never "hungry" enough. He strikes me as the smartest kid in class, but is content being a waiter or something like that.

    15:08 - "I'm tampering" LMAO!!! Not only is this spot on but it's already rearing itself with Randle jettisoning OUT of LA. On the surface you'd think someone like a Julius Randle would benefit w/playing with Lebron. But Randle (I'm curious if Nance Jr, Clarkson and he are tight. If so thats all I'd need to know form them sharing what it's like playing with LBJ) said, "The HELL WITH THAT!!!
    "I've outplayed the bulk of my draft and guys ahead of me (Exum, JabariParker and Marcus Smart) and you all don't want to pay me? Oh and I have to play with sir ball dominant/we don't practice/you have to read my mind to know where I(Lebron) want you to be on the floor???"
    Kudos to Randle for BETTING on himself and saying, "the hell with playing with him".

    Well, since Rajon Rondo just signed with the Lakers, here are 3 of the first 5 paragraphs of the comment I was going to leave here but felt it was too long to hold readers' attention.
    "If a team has an excellent point guard who isn't also the team's primary scorer, the primary scorer doesn't need to bring the ball up. He trusts the PG to get him the ball in his spot(s). That's why someone like Rajon Rondo is so valued in the NBA (GMs and head coaches don't like him because he sees the game better than they do and makes them look like fools when they force him to play against what he sees on the court - but watch how quickly he gets a coaching job after he retires). These point guards are so adept they know who the ball needs to go to - and who can deliver - in stressful moments when the primary scorer cannot get to his spot(s).
    "That known, please name Cleveland's point guards while LeBron played there. That's your answer as to why he “always needs the ball.” Think about this: Mario Chalmers played PG in Miami, not James. But in moments of stress James, like Kobe, like Jordan, all the way back to the 1960s when John Havlicek, a shooting guard (combo guard at best), brought the ball up for the Celtics after he became a the star, “The Man” brings up the ball when it counts (which is why you don't see Klay Thompson bringing up the ball in those moments but WILL see Draymond Green taking on that responsibility). And when Havlicek was the league's best 6th man and the Celtics best scorer, he NEVER brought the ball up in key moments. Why? Because they had KC Jones. It wasn't until Jones' final season, 1966-1967, that Havlicek began to assume that role.
    "And who won the NBA Championship that season? Wilt Chamberlain's 76ers. Who was the MVP? Wilt. What were his “me first” (according to you) stats? 24.1 points per game; 24.2 rebounds per game, and; SEVEN POINT EIGHT assists per game. Wilt sure was a me first player."
    --------------------------
    Rajon Rondo, when he plays with LeBron WILL be bringing the ball up the court in EVERY circumstance (obviously, except under the odd, last second shot situation).

One thing is for sure: Luke Walton has a system that Labron could do well in. Labron can get a lot of easy buckets with this Lakers squad. Lakers will patch together enough outside shooting. Randle in the paint. We’re good.

    The stats of everyone that was traded from Cleveland shows that they got better getting away from him and the one on one system that he forced on the ownership of the Cavaliers he and the stanky leg stall ball that he incorporates gets you to the championship put that hero ball won’t win truth is he’s a selfish player the complete opposite of what people think he is. Maybe Magic can teach him to share and give up as a ball hog.

    Can LBJ play off the ball and keep up the same level of success that he has seen while being so ball dominant? If the answer is no then why should he change his style of play? If the LBJ style of play is working then why change. Watch every allstar game prior to this last one. Whenever the games get tight in the 4th quarter who has the ball in their hand.

    Lebron's decision this time around won't be based squarely on basketball, or the movement of other superstars, and that's why the Lakers is his destination.
    Playing off the ball is not something Lebron would find uncomfortable to do. In fact, that's what he wants to do especially going into his final stretch of his career.
