      Perhaps, but whoever our new coach ends up being, he needs to give Max at least 20 mpg. Get rid of Vincent and Reddish - they're virtually nonexistent on offense.

    As a longtime Lakers fan, I don't like the Knicks - not a fan of Brunson. I like Julius Randle and Josh Hart, but Randle isn't even playing. If I'm going to root for any teams now that the Lakers have been eliminated, I'll go with OKC and the Pacers.
    And Mitchell Robinson should just retire - he just turned 26 but he's constantly getting injured and missing numerous games. He only played 31 games this season and 59 the previous season, and in the 2020 season he also only played 31 games. What good is a player who misses that many games?

      No need to ridicule Adam Silver and the Tom foolery. Bad look for the league, NBA wants a longer series, end of story.

    Thoughts on Trae leaving Klutch for CAA? Decreases likelihood of Lakers being a realistic landing spot for him?

    • @dmitryowens
      @dmitryowens Před měsícem +2

      Hopefully. I don't want him on my Lakers - he's an undersized inefficient-shooting ballhog and turnover machine.

      Or increases it. Klutch has too much of the pie when it comes to Lakers ability to make decisions unpopular with the 2 bigs.

    The Sixers who already have the Most Offensive Dominant Center in Embiid, the next Kyrie in Maxey, 60 Million in Cap Space and 5 First Round Picks to get another player.
    So why would anyone believe LeBron isn't going to the Sixers over staying with the Lakers who have only 3 picks, No Caps Space and who going to lose DLo to the Magics or Spurs for nothing (making the Lakers even worse) or just as bad the Lakers going to have to give DLo 30 Million a year just to keep him?
    So the Lakers not getting Kyrie or Myles Turner last season showed everyone When Being Cheap Goes Wrong.

    All signs point towards New Orleans prioritizing Murphy over Ingram as their wing of the future.
    New Orleans will have Ingram’s $36 million salary and valuable draft capital to attempt to pair another star alongside Zion Williamson.

      I believe the mistake was not constantly expanding over the years. They should be closing in on 40 teams by now. The amount of talent overseas and in the G League suggests they can sustain it.
      They make too much per team and it's caused player salaries to skyrocket. Greed got us here.

    TNT is the best NBA channel - the ESPN commentators and halftime show format and hosts aren't nearly as entertaining as Charles, Shaq, Kenny and Ernie.

      @@dmitryowens Absolutely and for that reason there's a lot of value in acquiring it. I think a lot of people would get access to NBA TV if that's where they'd find the guys.

      @dmitryowens Před měsícem

      @ryansproviero
      Well, TNT usually comes with your basic cable package whereas NBA TV is generally part of a premium package or an add-on, so a lot of lower income people wouldn't be able to afford it.

    • @ryansproviero
      @ryansproviero Před měsícem

      @dmitryowens Have you seen your cable bill lately? Unfortunately, they're here to make money, and increasing viewership on NBA TV does that as well as selling rights to someone like Amazon. Cable is a dying revenue stream for the NBA.
