    Big Dipper is a B&M Mega coaster shorter than any in their catalog but still one of the most thrilling. It has stronger airtime and quicker transitions than the other hypers (aside from maybe Mako) while still being within the realm of possibility for B&M.
    Length: 3700 ft
    Height: 152 ft
    First drop: 132 ft
    Max speed: 61 mph

    What a fantastic coaster, beautiful modelling and especially texturing, all the little details make this ride and the presentation was very clean!

    This is a great deal better than a lot of hypers and gigas I've seen.

    Wow. This needs to have a NSFW warning. I need to see a daytime pov.

    This is a beautiful video! I agree that the airtime and the overall ride is more intense than other b&m hypers. But I still think that the pacing is very good and is still within the realm of possibility for b&m! Overall beautiful coaster and great work!

    This is literally amazing! Would fit perfect at a park with a height limit, say Discovery Kingdom.

      I cheated a little bit with that tunnel to get some extra height difference but yeah otherwise it could fit right in under their height limit while still feeling like a full size hyper!

    You should definitely make a wing coaster with these effects

    Wonderful coaster! This would be perfect for the ghost town expansion at Knott’s

    Just wanna say, a mega coaster is one that's over 200 ft but below 300 ft, mega and hyper are the same

  • @themeparkreconnoiter9787

    They should've made Orion a Mega Coaster like this but kept there huge drop but have more airtime including 2 or 3 more airtime hills because Orion Right now only has 4 times of airtime

    Perfect for Thorpe Park. Taller and more imposing than The Swarm but still respectfully shorter than Stealth.
    Course, Thorpe can't afford a B&M like this anymore after Derren Brown's failure

    How did you make the track have lights? Looks amazing. Is there a way to make the light-strips onto a coaster aswell?

    • @puro-puro
      @puro-puro  Před 4 lety

      For the LED strips, I exported the track csv into blender where I made an object that followed the curve of the track. Described it a bit more here in this comment: czcams.com/video/_jlaIAabGdQ/video.html&lc=UgzHzgGTmlmgXmmF84J4AaABAg

    Bro THAT SKYBOX IS HOT DO YOU HAVE A DOWNLOAD

    • @puro-puro
      @puro-puro  Před 4 lety

      Both day and night (and sunset) versions are up for download and all environments in them are free to use for anybody who wants them! Alternatively for the night skybox you can download it directly from NASA and mess with the brightness to get it exactly how you want it (which is what I did): svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/3895

      It's an object with an emission material set up in a nl2mat

    How'd you get the lights under the tracks?

    • @puro-puro
      @puro-puro  Před 4 lety +1

      If you mean the LED strips, it's an object with an emission material that I applied to an array in Blender to follow the curve of the track

      @@puro-puro Is there a tutorial you followed to do that?

      @puro-puro  Před 4 lety

      @@yobenben99 For the emission material: www.jackjkelly.com/tutorials/nolimits-2-emission-maps/. For getting the object to follow the track: you need NL2 Pro to export the track as a csv file, then import that csv to blender, then there are a number of tutorials you can follow about having an array follow a curve
