Who doesn't love a good cup of coffee? A cappuccino, a latte or just a straight espresso? I'm there! In fact, I'm obsessed with coffee, it started mostly with the smell, it all starts mostly with the smell, doesn't it? I got addicted with the intoxicating aroma of coffee so I'm obsessed with the smell and of course now with the taste. I can't get enough of it. Well, this new release from Teo Cabanel is a coffee fragrance where they have captured the entire cafe smell into the bottle. This is created by indie perfumer Cecile Zarokian and we have a very balsamic and ambery coffee experience. Have you tried Cafe Cabanel? Are you familiar with the French perfume house of Teo Cabanel? This is the best channel I swear. I am always learning something new, I had no idea the brand existed.
This fragrance sounds absolutely amazing, coffee is everything in a fragrance especially during winter/fall.
I think being a brand that is no so commercially known would definitely guarantee you that know one smells like you.
My favorite coffee scent has to be Mugler-Pure coffee; saved up and bought it last year.
I have been trying to win one of these unique scents for months because we dont have them here.
Hopefully I will succeed. Wont give up though.

Never heard of this house but I REALLY love to wear Black Phantom in the dead of winter or Layton Exclusif. Those are the only Frags with coffee notes that I own. Would love to win that gorgeous bottle. Another great review Sebastian, cheers from Canada!

This sounds fantastic! I love coffee fragrances, with my favorites being Kerosene Follow, Pure Tonka, and Ristretto Intense Cafe. This one sounds amazing because of the lactonic notes, butter, and powdery heliotrope. Would love to win this one! I'm located in Zhubei City, Taiwan.

They are very detailed and just great for every perfume lover like myself:) I’m from Latvia, Baltic States, am really into niche perfumery and started to collect them a couple of years ago. I’m a huge coffee lover like you and my everyday starts with a spiced latte:) love it, just as the notes of coffee in perfumes. My favourite coffee scents are Black Phantom by Kilian as well as Intense Cafe by Montale, but sometimes I like to go into direction Tom Fords Cafe Rose, enjoy the combination there.
Would be really great to try this one as well, the coffee notes with milk and butter sound really delicious to me, but what I found really interesting was the tangerine note in the ansamble! I own another one by Teo Cabanel Meloe, a fresh airy floral on my skin.

This sounds like a lovely winter comforting fragrance. I am not a coffee drinker but I love the scent, my faves coffee inspired frags are Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord and Black Opium. I have some samples from Teo Cabanel, they have some lovely scents! I live in the USA.

Another interesting scent and great review! You had me at cinammon-sprinkled milky capuccino (with a hint of almond syrup) but really made me more interested when you mentioned it went ambery direction instead of being too caramelly. I can sort of imagine it and I hope I could try it. My favorite scents are Montale's Intense Cafe and Ristretto. I'm from Manila, Philippines.

As a Pastry Chef I always relate fragrances to some kind of food, cakes, desserts, savory dishes and so on. This time your review reminded me of me eating Almond Coffee Cake with cup of cappuccino. Espresso Royal Sebastian is my favorite coffee fragrance.

I’m obsessed with coffee too☺️🥴 haha I love coffee morning and night. I really love fragrances with coffee notes as well. The notes in Cafe Cabanel are a beautiful perfect union. I love cinnamon with coffee notes. I also love that this fragrance has rose. I love rose. Those base notes are a wonderful compliment to the top and middle notes. The bottle is really pretty too. My favorite coffee fragrance right now would be Noir Exquis by L’Artisan Parfumeur. It’s a delicious fragrance especially in colder weather. Cafe Cabanel is a fragrance I would most definitely wear. Sounds like a great cozy perfume for the coming winter. I am an avid coffee drinker too, I have mine with milk and cocoa butter usually. But I also love cinnamon on its own and in combinations so I am sure this would be right up my alley. I actually never tried a “true” coffee scent, except if Black opium counts. But the one I love more is the gentle coffee beans in Noa. I am curious about the Cabanel house, I read good things about them. I am from Romania, thanks for the giveaway.

Hey Sebastian, great review as always. The notes in this fragrance sound interesting. I love the smell of a fresh made stove top Turkish coffee and Italian espresso. I wanted to buy Salvatore Ferragamo Fragrance that smells like coffee , but it didn't last in my skin, so I walked out empty handed. I now don't have anything with coffee. My favorite coffee fragrance is Atelier's Cafe Tuberosa, but I'm wondering if I should also try Mugler's Pure Coffee too as it is lingering unopened in my SO's closet. Sebastian, great review of Teo Cabanel Cafe Cabanel. Sounds like a beautiful cafe latte fragrance with touches of cinnamon and almondy heliotrope. In the drydown you have the caramel, buttery notes, tonka bean, and vanilla...simply a beautiful gourmand. I also love the bottle presentation of this and the rest of the Teo Cabanel fragrance line. That bottle is gorgeous! I like the sound of an almondy, milky, buttery, ambery, vanillic coffee. I am a huge coffee lover, and this sounds so great for fall and winter. I have heard of Teo Cabanel before, but haven't had an opportunity to sample any of the fragrances. My favorite coffee fragrance is Tom Ford Cafe Rose, but I'm looking for a more coffee-forward frag.

Although I don't seek out that many coffee fragrances, Cafe Cabarnel sounds interesting. I'm intrigued by the addition of cinnamon. Even though it's a classic combo with coffee, I haven't smelled any coffee fragrances with cinnamon. My favourite coffee fragrance is probably Penhaligon's Endymion. The coffee is in the background but well done.

This sounds delicious. My favourite coffee fragrance that I own is pure Tonka. I find it to be very enjoyable but also very loud, so I really only wear it alone around the house. This one sound like a great coffee that goes in a very different Direction and would be easier to wear around others. I live in Canada and would love to win this one.

Interesting fragrance with funky looking bottle . Cecile Zarokian is such a great perfumer , and she knows how to do milky and lactonic fragrances, Remember Me she made for Jovoy is really pleasing.
New French brand + coffee latte + tangerine + Cecile Zarokian = images of my last trip to France , and drinking coffee latte and freshly squeezed juice at Montmartre coffee shops came to mind.
Right now my favorite coffee fragrance is Cardamom Coffee Lush .

I must confess I have never smelled a coffee based fragrance, and am now curious to try them all. Also I'm not familiar with this House of Teo Cabanel, but can appreciate how nice the bottle presentations look! I live in the USA, and would like to try this one out if I am lucky enough to win! Unfortunately for me, I do not think there are any Teo Cabanel outlets where I live. Night out scent is what Imagined because of the milk , coffee and almonds. I too like to sprinkle my cappuccino with cinnamon.
Ristretto Intense Cafe Montale is arguably the best coffee fragrance, at least in my possession.

Great review Sebastian! This 1 sounds great. I like the tangerine is discernible and the cinnamon. Also, the heliotrope being more prominent than the rose and I love vanilla and the tonka bean being included all really makes it appealing to me. I've only tried Intense Cafe and Ristretto Intense Cafe as far as coffee based fragrances. I'd say I prefer the Ristretto as of now. Although, Montale Sensual Instinct does have a roasted coffee bean note in the opening and I love that fragrance I just dont think it'd be considered a coffee based fragrance would it? It sounds very nice, as I enjoy a cappuccino on a regular basis as well. I put crushed, almost powdered, cardamom in mine.
My favorite coffee fragrance right now must be Coffee Man Seduction by O'Boticario. I'm intrigued by the milky and butter notes used in this fragrance (Café Cabanel).
