#mountainbiking #victoria #vancouverisland - Sport
It's been a fun place to ride! Are you subscribed yet to the channel? Make sure you are so you don't miss out what's next!
Get Dean to bring you to Broom Hill, there is some cool stuff, but you might need to bring Steve Vanderhoek because there's a slab there just for him!!
Gotta love Rémy sliding sideways (controlled) down a near vertical rock slab, calmly turn and talk to the camera 😂 making it look easy.
That's what we do!
Last vid from Vancouver island were sooo good. Some good chilled vibe, and my favourite kind of riding, techy, with flowy connections, in beautiful forest. More of it please 🤩
So sick to see some of Vic's finest gnar getting a shoutout! For anyone whose seen/ridden that slab on Outlaw knows how insane it is to hit it with that amount of control! Sick as always Rem!
Nice one… specially featuring Dean…again! 👍
Next video for Remy?! Why not in Pemberton… Diesel Wolf, top to bottom…with the train road gap!!👊
So cool, you’re living my dream, living in Canada and spending your time mountain biking. I actually prefer the look of this place to Squamish, there’s something that attracts me.
Awesome looking trails. There are a lot of similarities to what we have here in southwest Finland, but we only get a fraction of the length and elevation of these trails.
More Vancouver Remi. Those trails and descents were sick. My favourite type of riding too. Love the Gnarly features to challenge us. Great riding 👍🏻
Love these sort of trails, they're my kind of riding. You have such awesome trails in canada.👍
I loved the lines in todays video and I hope to see more whistler as well. Keep up the good work 😀
Everytime I watched your videos, you always amaze me man what a sick ride 🤘
I've ridden 90s Jank about 10 times and it is crazy to see you hit that big roll blind. Just built differently
such a nice location! and nice trails!
What an amazing trai! and the riding is intoxicating
Time to go explore the rocks of Sooke, then up to Nanaimo....so many good trails on the island.
Absolute gnnnnar! Great footage and following skills!
Your friend has a unique riding technique.
Sweet terrain. Great way of practicing on your technical skills
Great video! I’m still working up to the big roll on the first trail. I’ll have to check out the second trail tho!
dude, you 100000000% have that roll
@@South_Van_Ilse_MTB I’ve seen it twice in a wet and passed. I’d love to see it in good conditions!
Hey Remy, that was my son and husband you passed on 90’s Jank, they’ll be soo thrilled they made your video. Also, thanks for saying “hi” to my son as you passed him. You’re a class act and great role model.
That is awesome! Thank you
awesome!!! love this!! 🤩🤩🤩 that view 😍
Awesome video! Vancouver Island looks sick! I would love to see some more whistler content and Pemberton content with Steve Vanderhoek too!
Message Steve to tell him!
@@remymetailler You and Steve together is what i meant😅
Remy- hell no and that looked epic!!!
Would be cool to see you ride some of the old north shore lines
Boah😮 wild ride on a wild Trail with two wild Riders 😅 Sick 🎉
Oh whats that:Drop with a Gap 😁
We have to see you ride Mark Matthew's trails in Cumberland!!
I laughed when Dean called out the gap.
“Mumble mumble mumble”
“What?”
#thud#
“Oh”
Looks magic
He remy! I love your stuff!!! Please make a video about riding position an steep trails. I would like to know wether the crank must be. Horizontal or parallel to the ground. Please pro 😊
Remy, you should hit up Galbraith in Bellingham and then stop in the Vancouver area for The Woodlot, Thornhill and Mt.Seymour.
We want more of Nick rogley!!!!
Make your way to Bellingham, WA!
Steeeeeeeppppppp! so sick dude
Awesome video as usual!
I always wonder when I watch Remy's videos is how he has his brakes adjusted. He must be a surgeon with getting them dialed!
Also, when he mentioned in this video to keep the wheels rolling, I did reflect on my riding. About 5 years ago I fractured my wrist ( could have been much worse - got off easy!). I figured out for some goofy reason I braked too hard down a steep section I always ride down and brake minimally, if at all. Since then, I'm always aware of my braking and ask myself if I really need to brake. Typically I brake sparingly. However, watching the steep, gnarly, hills in BC Remy rides you definitely need to use brakes more and really know how to use them!
Maybe Remy could do a video on braking and also setup?
Hey thanks for noticing!
I have done at least 2 videos about braking. Check them out on the channel. One was done fairly recently.
here we gooooooooo....😍😍😍😍😍
It was good to see you showing us the different lines we can take 💯👌🏾
You need to get Jono Jones to come to Canada to do a ride with you, he is a Propane rider.
You are the best bro, I wanted to know what size of tires you use? or does anyone know? thanks
Kamloops next?
Or anywhere interior BC.
You should come to Quebec next!
8:43 did I just wish he'd said Doe, a deer. (or is reference just too old and silly)🤪.
Pemberton would be nice to see
Lets see some Whisgnar!!
Remy Never disappoints and who doesn’t love Vancouver Island it’s got something for everyone will be all into crazy old school features or crazy steep rock rolls it’s got the lot
I only started to really ride the Island this year and I have been loving it!
@@remymetailler we have been loving the Contant buddy I wish it was 20 years ago The building was just on a different level
Love your edits and your skillz! Not sure its cool to post videos of the best blue trails from up there. But, my wife is giving me 10 days in the area's you asked about at the end for my birthday at the end of August. So my question is what are the best blue's that she and I can ride together? I'm dreaming of North Shore like its a magic place and can't wait to hit some of the stuff you post but she is nowhere near that level. So if you have any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks for the epic ride's always!!
Hartland!!! My weekly place (but not on THOSE trails, haha!). What trails were you guys on?
Got the next ones: Hindgrinder? So many super tough trails in that area. Daves Line& 90’s Jank are faves. Thanks for visiting our little corner, all great vids!
They primarily were riding on trails that are unsanctioned by the CRD (minus 90s jank). Pretty sure it was Outlaw and Hindgrinder. Some other good ones up that way like Rampart, but they're all super gnarly hahs
Pemberton or chute near Williams Lake.
Those are some gorgeous psychotic trails! I'd have to walk like 66% of the tough features but just the sights would be worth it!
watching the first minute i know ill walk 75% of the features. but to see it in person is just magical.
I ride the others but the first trail (outlaw) I walked the entire thing. It’s nuts start to finish.
@@nelsonrko Yeah looking at it again I'd probably do the same thing. Props for riding the other ones through cause a few of those gaps and drops look like they would be too much for me to even try right now.
"That's cool", "sick dude", "yeah buddy" x 347 times
“Little what?” (A creek gap) “ah, ok” 😂😂😂 Insane! Sooooo sick!
*Now flying".. "Ah ok". 😆
j'espère que tu va faire une video yt sur la nouvelle ligne que ta posté sur Insta !
Lynn Woods in Massachusetts
If u like tech n slabs and u actually have to pedal, very similar terrain just not as much down!
Nothing better for testing your tech skills….
Was Dean riding a mullet set-up as well
Hey! No im using a full 29er Transition Sentinel 🤙🏼
Moi j’aimerais surtout voire le trip de surf aussi😊
Come to Canada Olympic Park in Calgary
Você é do Canadá ??
Come ride Woodlot and send all the ridiculous features
Very cool seeing you on my local trails!
More to come!
Someone know which bike Dean rides? Patrol or Spire?
The Sentinel actually!
@@deantennantmtb Patrol was the first option for my next bike, now I will add sentinel to my list 😆.
3:34 do I hear YoB laughing in the background?
more Vancuuver
Ps - urban downhill
The place doesn't matter, just get Steve and Yoann with you. The 3 together make the best content.
I’m very sad to see the most aggressive scrub off a drop being removed from your intro!
Sorry!
Rossland, Castlegar, Nelson BC
I have accommodation for you in Rossland for free.
You should go to the northeast US and get Phil Kmetz (Skills with Phil) to show you some crazy gaps in the bike parks!
Mt Fromme?
first one! xD
whistler
Remy, what kind of mudguard do you use in this video?
Hey I use the Mudhugger Evo 2
