Don't know for Kingslayer and Vran armors from 2 to 3 but definitely are awful.

Game combat was awful, felt like game was gluing me to enemies in 2nd game.
Not much space to dodge on majority of fights.

IIRC if Nilfgaard did lose the battle by either not doing Radovid side quest or siding with Djikstra at the end, he will indeed leave the village, pressumably with the Nilfgaardians.

Actually that dialogue will take place ONLY if you decided to capture an arsonist.
If you took a bribe from him, that dialogue won't happen.
