  • This is a FNAF timeline/analysis & explanation of Fazbear Entertainment's history from Fredbear's Family Diner to the final Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in FNAF 1. In this video, I go over the lore that the games directly tell us as well as theorizing on some of the more ambiguous events. Evidence is provided for all of the points I make, as well as for my theories and how I came to that conclusion.

Actually that line refers to how BV witnessed Elizabeth get killed by Circus Baby. Thats why Nightmare and Nightmare Fredbear have teeth on their stomachs, like mouths. The stomach is where Circus baby's claw comes out of. So in his eyes, as a child, it looks like the animatronic ate his sister. Mystery solved?

I think all of the questions you had about Freddy Fazbear's Pizza 1993 can be answered like you said: Phone Guy's full of shit. Fazbear Entertainment is full of shit. They don't care for their employees or customers as much as they should. They only care for those fat stacks 💰 and are more than willing to lie, manipulate, and perform various cover ups just to stay in business as long as possible.
And the longer they stay open, the worse they get. Help Wanted (both the game and the story in Tales from the Pizzaplex) show them at their absolute lowest.

@@bonswootch I always pegged Henry as someone who had genuine love and passion for his restaurant, Fredbear's. Maybe the Bite of '83 forced him to close his doors and get bought out by FE? Then again, who knows how long that lasted if it did happen considering it's implied he disappeared after losing Charlie.
Nice video, btw. The analysis of Phone Guy's recordings and calls is what I've gotten interested in as well in trying to figure the restaurants in Fruity Maze and Midnight Motorist.

I suppose it’s possible that those were the suits used in FNAF 3’s cassettes, but does that really solve anything? It still leaves the question of why/is it relevant that the temporary costumes weren’t appropriate back at the first restaurant. And why explain that now? There’s been like 7 games in between and that detail from FNAF 3 seems pretty minor for them to explain it in the latest game. That’s just my take on it.

In a way, even William ended up a victim to Fazbear Entertainment just like their employees, having their deaths covered up and hidden away. After Willaim was springlocked, he was discovered in the saferoom and they sealed it with his body in it. Not just in that location, but in almost every other location to avoid suspicion. It shows how experienced they are with hiding incidents to keep their business going, like with the "missing" nightguards. Fazbear Entertainment was the one to discover him, because in Fnaf 2, phone guy tells us in a startled tone, "The yellow one, someone used it", implying that they found William springlocked in the suit. They then left him there to be forgotten when they abandoned the building with the dismantled fnaf 1 animatronics. What's even more bizarre is that when he was rediscovered 30 years later, they intended to use the suit containing his corpse as the main attraction. Exploiting a dead guy for profit. The company is literally worthy of it's own netflix documentary, they are true villains.
There's also lots of things and loopholes in the lore that dont make sense because Scott said he didnt expect people to beat the game. He said fnaf 1 was meant to be unbeatable, which means he hadn't planned the lore that far ahead, so the "odor" comment was most likely a joke that he ended up continuing throughout the games, and had no lore implication to Michael. Or the odor could also just be coming from the animatronics themselves, as people complained about the smell since they were stuffed with bodies and never cleaned.

I think the coverup and investigation for the original Missing Children Incident lasted 4 years, from 83 to 87. That includes the investigation of Charlie's death. FNAF2 is when Purple Guy was finally identified as the one that "used the yellow suit". He was obviously the dayshift guard who was terminated. But while the investigation was going on for 4 years, Fazbear Entertainment took measures to reassure the patrons that it was safe. That's when they upgraded the animatronics with links to a criminal database, etc. It's unclear if all 5 disappearances happened at the same time and I don't think it makes any difference. I imagine Purple Guy spread out his crimes as to avoid suspicion. His first crime, however, was shown in Take Cake, and gave birth to the possessed Puppet. The details of this are unclear. Was it a hit and run? Did he stab her? Was it even "The" Purple Guy or some other Purple Guy? UCN's Puppet says something curious about how she's not mad at the player. If we play as the killer in UCN, and this killer killed Charlie intentionally, why would she "forgive" him like that? It's very fishy. If the UCN player killed Charlie, it was an accident. If the UCN player didn't kill Charlie, then who did? I have to wonder sometimes about the Security Puppet minigame. The skid marks in the road suggest someone either braked quickly or accelerated quickly. And it was raining and dark and in an alleyway. What if someone simply ran into her then fled the scene? This would explain why Charlie was able to remain self-aware as a spirit. She didn't die some gruesome prolonged death, she died suddenly in an accident. This also explains Henry's choice of words when talking to William at the end of FFPS. He still calls him "old friend" but curiously doesn't accuse William of killing his daughter. I really think there is some huge misconception. If the serial killer responsible for the MCI also killed Charlie, her death was an accident. That's why Puppet's not mad at him anymore. That's why she recognizes him but isn't afraid of him anymore. And I'm inclined to say it had to be the MCI killer, because of Toy Chica's High School Years montage. She starts off already having a body part in her bag and I believe this is in reference to Charlie's death being the killer's first kill, albeit an unintentional one. It's curious that Toy Chica doesn't explain that first kill, don't you think?

33:10 I think, even at the time fnaf 1 was released, this was supposed to be a lie. It was already clear the place was haunted by children when fnaf 1 came out. The posters of the animatronics occasionally change to drawings of crying children, the newspapers talk about children going missing, and blood leaking out of the animatronics. There is no rule about endo-skeletons being out of their suit, that’s a lie to coverup the hauntings.

Gotta love these evil game companies! 😄 There's no way they didn't notice the bodies in the old suits during the remodels, or William in the springtrap suit before they walled him up. I have a feeling Phone Guy gets massive bonuses for hush money.
Fnaf 2 being a "grand re-opening" of a "vintage restaurant" and the phone guy's dialogue suggests it's an older location that's being re-opened. The "kid friendly" upgrades are the new AI and the ability to move around on their own so they can protect children. That explains Mangle (and the Mangle toy in fnaf4). Since parts of the withered animations were used to repair the toys, I don't think they were ever individually possessed. After the shut down the toys are scrapped and used to repair the withered.
"What's going on out there" is missing kids, and it's being connected to the restaurant because the kids spent time there. William definitively murdered there because we're in the fnaf2 location in Save Them, where the Puppet activates Freddie to "save them" while the others are still dormant. The company must not have covered the blood bath up well enough since they're being investigated and eventually shut down.
In fnaf2 Phone Guy says it isn't possible for the old animatronics to move around on their own, so that was a new thing with the toys. Either they assume the remodel after fnaf2 gave the old models that ability, or the company knows they're haunted by now and are trying to hush that up too. I think it's the latter because phone guy is clearly lying to us in fnaf1.
And if there's a Fredbear plush, why couldn't there be a Spring Bonnie? They might just be older than the current toy line, and any toy with a mechanic could be a finger trap.

Neat video! Here are my thoughts as I watched:
16:57 Something to note is that they used the Withereds, which were already haunted, for parts, suggesting that those parts were used in the Toys, which might mean that the MCI kids are also possessing the Toys through those shared parts. Alternatively, the SAVE THEM kids might be involved.
19:15 You just said that the Toys aren't possessed. Make up your mind.
19:34 Since they have a Parts and Service room full of spare parts, not to mention the Withereds, they probably put in some spare parts to enhance the "attraction".
20:48 Plus, it doesn't have a facial recognition system like the others, or at least isn't really said to. If we take FNaF 5 into account, its circuitry might be almost totally fried and thus give the spirit within nearly full control.
    22:31 Very much haunted behavior.
26:27 Alternatively, he smells _because_ he was tampering with the smelly Withereds.
34:05 Those teeth are the player's, as suggested when Phone Guy mentioned them popping out the front of the mask.
37:08 This matches their Help Wanted behavior (despite it probably being new management), though it's also possible that tampering with the smelly animatronics also leaves you stinky.

Hey thanks! I’m glad you liked it.
16:57 That’s a good point, perhaps some of the possessed parts made their way into the Toy’s. As for the SAVE THEM kids, that is what I was leaning towards in this video, however, it could certainly be either.
19:15 What I meant was that they weren’t possessed at the start of the game, but perhaps they became possessed as the days go on, thus the building being on lockdown and the animatronics behavior changing. I apologize if I didn’t make that evident.
19:34 I suppose that is possible.. if that is the case it makes me questions Fazbear Entertainment’s choices even more-one of their characters has extra skeletal parts.. creepy.
20:48 Sounds good to me. As the “Security Puppet” it’s funny they never worked any of the newer upgrades into it. Then again, it was likely an older character and now resides inside of a box.
22:31 Maybe.. but Phone Guy emphasizes their strange behavior and that someone might have tampered with their facial recognition systems.
26:27 Perhaps. That would make these seemingly two pieces of evidence really just one. As if we don’t have enough information already! xD
34:05 That’s very possible.. even though he said that I just didn’t think they looked anything like human teeth, but it’s possible that is what is shown. So maybe there is maybe there isn’t an endo skeleton in there too. Even if that isn’t the case, that was just a small theory and shouldn’t take away from the rest of the narrative.
37:08 I threw that in there because I’ve heard people say that but I don’t believe they just made up “odor”. I do believe that Scott put that in there for one reason or another; whether it be to show that he’s a corpse or to further emphasize what’s he’s been doing with the animatronics. Or.. it could’ve been a joke in the first game that Scott turned into a running gag in the prequel.. Not sure :)

This is random but isn’t it weird that there are five nights at Freddy’s games that don’t take place at Freddy’s like fnaf 4, sister location, and ucn ( also technically 3 takes place in Fazbear fright) it’s also funny that In some games don’t have 5 nights like pizza sim (ends on Saturday also not at night) 2 (6th night is Cannon) 1 (6th night is cannon) 4 (6th night is likely cannon) 5 (custom night I think is cannon) and ucn (infinite nights) so in some of these games you DON’T spend five nights at Freddy’s

I have a thought on why Mangle's second head and hand are there in its model.
The staff had extra parts leftover from the Original Funtime Foxy, and just decided to throw them there just for the heck of it when no one was looking.

Let's be honest here, Fazbear Entertainment cares more about profit than they do about employee safety, customer safety, OSHA guidelines and FDA regulations (this isn't too much of a surprise since the fictional company is set in America. There's a very good reason why most American food is illegal in other parts of the world).
Though the books are in a separate universe (a parallel one, where everything is mostly the same, or is an equivalent of that thing, that's in the main games), they do help us to see how this company operates. One story that stuck out to me was called 'Pizza Kit'. While not having a whole lot of lore, the premise is a disturbing one. Someone falls into a pizza sauce vat, and instead of telling someone about it and stopping production, Fazbear Entertainment just continues on with making pizzas, knowing full well that they have human...uh... remains in them. Like, wth.
Another story (a classic in my opinion) is 'Fetch'. This one has more lore relevance. Fetch is described as looking older than the protagonist's parents (when modern tech didn't exist) yet is able to connect with modern smartphone technology. This kind of implies that Fazbear Entertainment has more advanced tech than the rest of the world does, in this universe. Which does explain why the tech does seem a little strange to us as people playing the games. We always thought "Wow, this is super high tech and sci-fi". Yes, it was. But it doesn't reflect the technological advancements made by everyone else in this world. We have no indicator on where the rest of the Freddy's world is in terms of industrial advancement.

Mangle is female and is unpissessed, but Foxy has always been a boy so it would make sense why they'd refer to it as such. Even in AR, its clearly a female suffering from body dysmorphia on account of being a literal torn apart wreck. It also having 2 heads and an extra hand probably plays a part in it, I wouldn't doubt that they had 2 Foxy's initially due to that one teaser and some of his parts got mixed in
EDIT: they likely swapped endos out, which would make sense why they would have some understanding of how to do it themselves since they were alluded to having thinking capabilities that early on and acting autonomously. William more and more seem like a man with Twisted Morals trying to discover who knows what (immortally likely so far) and wasn't invested on the Image and Look of FredBear or Freddy's Locations as he likely saw them as useful tools for Money and Robotic supplies.

I think the Withered animatronics changing appearance between games, or at least Freddy and Bonnie, can be explained by the appearance of Fredbear. In UCN, we learn that Fredbear is all but a recolor of Freddy, with extremely minor differences like more squarish ears and a slightly smaller muzzle. It’s entirely possible that, rather than repairing Withered Freddy’s suit, the company just dyed old Fredbear suits, since the Withereds’ suits were so damaged likely from being dismantled. Not only would this explain Fredbear looking so close to Freddy, but it would also explain Bonnie being a near recolor of Freddy in the first game, since it’s the only time that’s the case. And since the only real difference between Freddy and Bonnie’s suits is the head, and it’s the only part of Withered Bonnie we don’t see, I think it could be possible that they just made an amalgam of Fredbear’s suit and the original Bonnie’s head. A lack of spare Withered suits could also explain why Foxy is out of order in FNaF1; he isn’t any faultier than the others, they just don’t have any spare legs, feet, and torsos for him, because he couldn’t just use Fredbear’s or Spring Bonnie’s. Only real problem here is Chica, who has a new suit that doesn’t match the older animatronics, but hey maybe they could only afford a single new suit and just had to play some stitch work to weed out their priorities.
