Putt-Putt and Pep's Balloon-o-Rama (1996, PC) - Longplay

In this arcade style game game, the two main characters Putt-Putt and his faithful companion Pep the dog need to pop all the balloons in the 120 levels of this game. Once all balloons in a level are popped, the game will allow you to proceed to the next level.
The game also offers the option of creating your own levels. Each balloon has a different surprise after being punctured. Candies add points and garbage takes them away. If Pep manages to pop a few balloons at once while not returning to Putt-Putt, the player will earn more points. There are also loads of power ups in the game to help you double your points. When the player succeeds in destroying the flying saucer, they will be able to take part in the bonus round on the moon.
Putt-Putt and Pep's Balloon-O-Rama is a Junior Arcade game developed by Humongous Entertainment and released for the Windows and Macintosh operating systems in October of 1996.
Plot
Putt-Putt and Pep are driving through the Cartown country side with some balloons. Putt-Putt then tells Pep to hold on to the balloons. Pep then opens his mouth to bark and the balloons float into the air. Putt-Putt and Pep then set out to pop all of the balloons. At the end of the game, Putt-Putt is very glad that Pep is the balloon popping pup ever as Pep pops the final balloon. With that, the two return home.
Gameplay
Balloon-O-Rama's gameplay is similar to that of Breakout, a 1976 Atari arcade game. Each level of the game has old scenes from Putt-Putt Goes to the Moon, Putt-Putt Saves the Zoo and Fatty Bear's Birthday Surprise.
