The good places put onion + cut chilis in their Roti sardine to neutralise the smell. Sardine buns at bakeries also put both 😊

Not sure if u guys noticed it,but roti canai have 2 shape.. round & square.. the round is more fluffy & more dough, meaning u can feel more roti for it compare the square is more crispy & less dough..
If u looking for crispy,then go square.. want more roti/dough ask for round shape..

Glad that you enjoyed your meal. If you happen to visit this restaurant again, you can try Roti Telur (basically Roti Canai with egg and some onions) and Murtabak (basically a larger Roti Canai filled inside with minced meat (either chicken, beef or mutton), egg, onion and garlic.

The curry mee at the corner restaurant (0:24) is also very good and famous. Next to it, hand pull pan mee, also nice. Recommended to try if you're around the area. Enjoy!

I Chang & Jimmy favourite roti canai spot.. He use expensive brand can sardine with tomato sauce(thats why a bit expensive, usually around rm 4 Roti Sardine, Plain Roti rm 1.50).. Next, Malay style of roti Canai... In some states of Malaysia, they have 'Flying Roti Canai'... 'Canai' means 'To Roll'...dough or iron/steel.. Next, Malay Roti Canai...

@@nami.oishii_malaysianlife Kosong means zero, in this case mains plain/empty. So it is plain roti without any extra filling. I suggest u try out "roti tissue" next time, it is a very thin and crispy roti coated with a little bit of sugar and condensed milk.
Best to eat roti with dhall. Or fish curry with fish in it. But then thats just my taste,
