Wow! A melodious masterpiece of its own kind, making exuberant
i know it's quite randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to watch newly released series online?
@Ryker Nolan try flixzone. Just google for it =)
I've clicked through so many videos, through so many incredible, weird ambient landscapes... I feel like I'm going on a train trip, seeing a succession of crazy, never-before-seen scenes from history, important, weird musics through the window as I pass.. there's so much to explore. So many places to alight and dwell in the ambiences that are on offer. This stop, in particular, is brilliant
I studied and teache the piano. When I focus to your technique abilities while playing, my eyes suggest corrections all the time. When I hear without seing I let myself fall to one of the purest, natural piano talents on youtube, with a heart big as a mond of jupiter, and with a sensibility for the soundcolors, the phrasing, the deeper meaning of the music unequal to many many professional musicians, regardless which instrument they're playing. Thank you so much
Love your interpretation of Richter- so relaxing: the soft, contemplative, airy touch; the unrushed tempo on the slower pieces and the clarity in phrasing on the faster ones; and the sound engineering was superb - subtle reverb, stereo balance, etc. Bravo.
Thank you for playing these awesome masterpieces! I really loved that you played "Andras" slower than the original tempo. It reveals the heavier weight of feelings note by note! Thank you again!
Thank you so much for making this valuable recording available.
14:35 "From the rue Villin"
Simply amazing...
Wonderful sensitive and simple playing and video. I really appreciate this. Thank you for sharing, and go on playing music in such an honest and straight way!

Wonderful videography, love the way the hands are somewhat ethereal and only the keys a constant! Fits richter so well, great work
I totaly agree with you. It is, indeed, a beautiful and delicate playing.
El indiscutible maestro de la compleja sencillez musical... Thumbs up. Hats off...

Beautiful, thank you. I'm intrigued by the unseen hand playing the base notes throughout Twins (Prague).

🇮🇷. 😲.
One of my favourite composer who really has brought music 🎶🎼🎶 to another level.
Thank You, Max Richter! Bravo! Your music is like a lake under the moon, and raindrops are falling down on the water with smooth intensity, making it sound alive... :)
Florian 2, I feel your pain!
Thank you! Max Richter are my favourite composer
Medicine to my soul
Thanks for publishing this! Just discovered Max this morning by accident and I don't want to make any reckless premature judgments, but he may be the most important, and most powerful, living piano composer. I've never heard anything remotely like this.
That is like saying: "Blue is the most powerful and important colour." Appreciate the other colours, otherwise your world is grey.
I suggest you listen to Phillip Glass Piano Etudes and then look at the time line, then re-evaluate your opinion.
In your defence if you really consider the last 500 years of composition there have been relatively few revelutionary composers to be honest. It's just a slow steady accumulation of knowledge and the body of work that represents. there are some really revelutionary composers who tried something totally new, I doubt very much if you would like thier work !
Could be a bit rapide conclusion for one day :) Wish you discover Ludovico Einaudi one morning.
And maybe Mozart by Mitsuko the next day :)
I have only recently started listening to classical music and cannot believe what I have been missing out on. This is simply stunning. Love it, thanks!
Happy to hear that! Thank you, Mark
That is not classical music though
Oh I think it is totally classic 😊
@@luclafor yes, is classical music
Please search in other webs, I use Wikipedia because I not speak English. I learn in Spanish and after I can send in other languages.

Increíble maestro!🙏grande Max Richter!!!!
Incroyable! Continuez! Vous jouez merveilleusement. Merci!
Thank you so much Coversart for including which songs are played at what times.
You are welcome. Thanks for listening!
Molto bello qui.
Can't stop listening to this. It's like a soundtrack to what's going on in my head. Beautifull.
Thank you!
Debussy + Honneger + Frahm + Arkenstone + William Ackerman... as well as some tons of the D minor Adagios of Delius. What a glorious content...
Maravilla :)
gracias!
Гениально...💞
Thank you!
I didn't realize at first it was just you performing these pieces. The video and audio is amazing. Don't change anything! I totally subbed and would love to use your music with your permission on my channel.
it is not his right as he is not the father of the work but just a simple pianist.
To clarify I'm asking to use the recordings you've made with attribution. I know you can't grant permission to the composition. That would have to be resolved seperately.
Yes, Jeb, you can use it. (of course I don't own music publishing rights, only performing & recording) Just don't forget to include a link to the original video. And please let me know if you need an HQ audio file. Cheers.
Thanks so much!
This is a beautiful 35:15 mins listen.

Hey! Are these the pieces that are on Max Richter's solo sheet music songbook? Great interpretation, by the way ✌
Infra 3 Remembers me of Schubert´s Impromptu nr 3 ^^
Same here!) Surely mr. Richter is familiar with the subject.
Congratulations for the video I like it a lot. I just have a question ... What is the best fingering for The Twins-Prague please? (Left hand)
Thanks
Saudade...
Belíssimo!!!!
love this😃 Wish I could find his sheet music???
Check this - www.free-scores.com/shop/max-richter-piano-works-sheetmusic--1174001
for example, but you can just google "max richter piano works". There are plenty of options.
i have the album in pdf, and could provide it
How are you hitting the lowest notes during The Twins (Prauge) @28:46?
This piece is preformed with two players so I guess the low notes are a separate recording.
you should sell a music score book for this suite of music arrangements. I will definitely buy one!
I bought one on Amazon. ISBN 978-1-78305-696-5
Wunderschöne Klaviermusik! Aber bitte unbedingt auf einem STEINWAY !
Vous touchez dans le morceau Fragment, le fa et le sol d´une seule main?. Comment vous y arrivez?
This is so beautiful ♡♡♡♡BIGHUGS Universally
Very good! But what happened to the bass octaves in Twins? Played by a ghost?
Why can I not find the sheet music for Departure? *sadness* I keep getting Lullaby or some other version, same key b ut completely different music. Someone help please?
You can get the original sheet music, piano works. Available by Amazon or similar
What music sheets did u use? I need to learn these lol
Max Richter - Piano Works (published by Chester music)
07:27 can you please tell me piece number 4? Sadly its not Departure and I can not found the piece which you played. Thank you!
Hi Marky Mark! This is "Departure" (from Piano Works songbook)
Max Richter has 2 pieces (at least) with a similar title. There is "The Departure" from The Leftovers television series - czcams.com/video/PrqQaaR5Ajc/video.html, and there is just a piece for piano called Departure (without "The")
@@coversart Oh so sorry and thank you very very much for the information. Never heard that piece before, its so beautiful.
like,,
I thought i heard a piece by him during the Beijing olympics women's free skating, but can't find it. Anyone?
No idea. Maybe "Departure"? This composition is quite often used in sports
czcams.com/video/PrqQaaR5Ajc/video.html
@@coversart Many thanks for your reply. Not sure if that was the piece that i heard but has introduced me to a new composer and some lovely music.
Wonderful! However, it is not clear who is playing the piano. Is it Max Richter?
Of course not. I'm playing the piano. Thank you!
You might want to add the fact that you are playing to the information at the top. Wonderful playing and I enjoyed the simplicity of a clear view of your hands on the keyboard.
What kind of piano is this? A Schimmel?
yamaha 5' 3"
who is performing this? What is the name of the performer?
coversart is the name of the performer.
Like snowflakes falling
Good work!
4:10 It's too bad your piano C Sharp is out of tune
Also the E is a little bit out of tune

The first song is a knock off of moonlight sonata 1st movement. Nothing wrong with ripping off Beethoven per se, but give credit where credit is due
These songs are from max Richter. So you should ask Mac Richter to give credit to Betthoven. I'm sure he will :)
so what you're doing is just looping a 5-10 second melody. Wow, good work. It does require so much skill
Someone didn't listen beyond a minute or so then. :) Actually making minimalist music sound good takes a lot of skill because you are so exposed and have so little to work with.
didn't like entropy... would have made it more like the original : more progressive and more theme. The end was a bit frustrating when you know the original
Dear Lekirikikoo Mamair
,
You are my favorite type - "a representative of the expert community". It's great that you were able to hear the similarity of "Written On The Sky" with another composition of The Blue Notebooks - "On the Nature of Daylight", which you apparently call "Entropy" and expressed your frustration. But in defense of Max Richter, I must say that despite the melodic and harmonious similarities between "Written On The Sky" and "On the Nature of Daylight", they are all different compositions. Moreover, in the official piano book by Max Richter - Piano Works published by Chester Music (and performed by me on this video), "On the Nature of Daylight" is completely absent.
But being a huge fan of Max Richter, I recorded "On the Nature of Daylight" (Entropy) which you, dear expert, can listen here:

Its not worth it if you dont play rpg from waltz with bashir sorry
sounds monotonous and boring to me...
Elias Pegilovus simple does not necessarily mean bad
You are absolutely correct. But, later, you may find the beauty of boring-ness and monotonous-ness and be in doubt "why have we been so obsessed by extra- and unnecessarily-many notes, spammed at such high speed?" Then, you are ready to enjoy the minimalistic beauty.
Sungryong Hong you put it into words :)
I think what he is trying to say is that you don't need to clutter the song with extra notes, but perhaps to take the melody and harmonies to an unexpected place rather than always a predictable path. I find the predictablity has a deadend feeling to it, and I long for an element of surprise and optimism.
