There is a florist place near my house that is also a restaurant. Looking at their arrangements it seems like one of those speciality places. I’m a high school student and think this would be such a fun job. I enjoy crafting and I’ve made a couple arrangements myself (a couple vases). Maybe I’ll inquire.. definitely need more experience but that’s part of the job
I’m also a high school student I currently work at a grocery store but I would love to work at as a florist. I plan on calling tomorrow to see if anyone is hiring and if so what age! I really hope I find something!

Is being a florist bring in good money ? I want to study to be one but my mom said no because it’s not a good job forever
You can make money in flowers depending on what you want to do, I am going to make a video next week about the different career paths you can take in floral design and the salaries. Your mom isn't wrong but she also isn't right. She just wants you be safe and secure in a job which is understandable.

Aren't a lot of flowers toxic to cats? especially lilies.. I heard that just pollens can kill cats so they shouldn't be in the same room
So far so good, our cat doesn't eat the flowers. Shes been here for two years and we haven't had any issues. I do believe some flowers are toxic to animals, I'll make a video on this.

For probably 3 years now I’ve been dying to work as a florist but everywhere I’ve seen in Chicago asks some kinda experience (and a license🥲🥲) but maybe when i move to NOLA in a handful of months I’ll have better luck! thank you for such an informative vid!!
