This interview just feels good...back in the day, I would ALWAYS use Mike Shannahan's playbook & a 4-3 defense for the 9ers on Madden; now look at us, no more 3-4, and one of the best playcallers in football, life's good. 😁

mannnn as a niner fan, in my 27 years of living... i remember times where we didn't have a legit head coach. when we first got kyle i was a little skeptical but mannnn im glad we have him. nobody is perfect but he's a student of the game and he grows each season.

Literally had to build the team from the ground up since 2017 and has been to the NFC Championship twice, think he's doing good managing to make the Niners title contenders man.

The way he talked about drafting a young qb to take over a mediocre Jimmy G to afford guys like Trent Williams, deebo, Bosa, Kittle, Warner etc makes so much sense. Much rather bet on a young talented qb that’s not gonna cost much in the first 4 years over Jimmy G who’s mediocre than to lose star players over money bc you can’t afford them.

Adam Peters doesn't get enough credit for that SF roster. Lynch had no idea what he was doing in 2017 and Kyle doesn't find the talent, he coaches the talent he requests. Hopefully for SF, they have a few Adam Peters deciples duplicating his processes.

I support McVay but I always think that in the same situation, Shanahan will outclass McVay offence. While Shanahan offence had dropped the ball over the years in crucial situations, in the long run there’s no doubt Shanahan will be remembered as a great coach.
