Something not quite right here. If you freeze-frame on John Rocque's map of 1769 'Battle Bridge' is marked as being the much bigger bridge area where the underpass is at the base of the Euston Tower today. You can see it runs directly down to Tottenham Court with Lamb's Conduit clearly to the East of it, as it is today. King's Cross Bridge is basically a crappy parade of shops & I think the battle would surely have been up at the bigger site, as shown on Rocques map but the film then shows a shot of 'King's Cross Bridge' parade & the voiceover says "what is now King's Cross Bridge"...........the battle can't have been at both ends of Euston Road!!!?
I was at North London poly then at Kentish Town, walked most days to Camden, was like a wonderland then 🎸❤️
