Thanks for the video. We really need those types of concept explanation. Here in Mauritius, we usually have the web of the beam cast first then the top part of the beam is cast together with the slab. Hence part of the stirrup is found in part in the slab and the top bar of the beam is cast togehter with the slab. Please let me know your thought about it? I believe this is most likely a restrained slab due to the stirrup of the beam but the beam being cast in two operations does not qualify it to be called a flanged beam, more likely, aimply supported.
