I think the moment vector drawings need to be better described. They appear to show as if the beams are rotating while the moment is applied to them as they are bending. It would be better just to draw the moment vectors strictly without the folding impression. Just strictly bending direction. Not as if folding while showing the direction of moment bending of the segment.

Thanks for the video. We really need those types of concept explanation. Here in Mauritius, we usually have the web of the beam cast first then the top part of the beam is cast together with the slab. Hence part of the stirrup is found in part in the slab and the top bar of the beam is cast togehter with the slab. Please let me know your thought about it? I believe this is most likely a restrained slab due to the stirrup of the beam but the beam being cast in two operations does not qualify it to be called a flanged beam, more likely, aimply supported.
