    I was at Bakers boots 2 days ago and we did a measurement on my boots , they were at 11 oz. I've been wearing them for a month now they have become my favorite boot. The comfort is unmatched.

    I sized down half a size and they fit perfect. I got the 10” high boots in brown and they are badass. The quality is there next to nicks and whites, except they are a lot more comfortable outta the box. The press the insole with the shape of a foot to reduce the break-in period. The outsole with the white cross is for extreme weather temperatures too. They are in stock, got them delivered in about a week.

    Id like to see these boots compared to Franks new "Patriot" model that are right around $350 (I think) yet are still produced right here in the good ol USA.

      Franks boots are $350 but they will NOT Rebuild the Patriot its not a good price point for them to make money and there boots has not pull tab on back of the boot I order my Drew boots 1 month ago and they lead time is right now is 4-5 months for Drews and Franks has only small size left and I don't think they will release them again !!

    Your White's squeak (like mine sometimes do; I've noticed it comes and goes with things like humidity and air pressure changes like getting on an airplane) because of leather rubbing on leather internally - probably the midsole rubbing against the shank, or rubbing between the midsole, leather filler, and insole. Recently they've started putting a bit of canvas between the leather layers to prevent the squeaking.
    The press technique they're talking about I don't think really addresses the leather-on-leather squeaking issue but should help prevent the outsole from delaminating from the rubber slip sole.

    I have a pair of Jk boots I wear everyday. I might have to give these guys a try. They look identical to my Superduty boots. The hard pill to swallow is the not American made but then again the current economy is a lot different today then when I first got my JK’s. 600$ today would actually financially hurt

Got a 9.5 D in the drews and fit perfectly. And they are killer boots. Just as good as any pnw logger boots I've had or seen. In my opinion these are the best boots you can get for the price.

      The JK300 is also pretty good, but you get some synthetic materials, no leather midsole, no toe stiffener, no stacked heel (either a wedge or unit lug outsole). The Frank's Patriot looks pretty close, but I don't know the full specs of that boot. Even if it's exactly the same or near enough, the reason Frank's can sell them so cheap is that they're calling them "non-rebuildable" (as in, they won't rebuild them, not that they can't be rebuilt, because rebuilding probably costs them nearly as much as a brand new pair of boots but is cheaper for the customer). Meanwhile, Drew's says these ones can be rebuilt. So yeah, of the three, I'd probably go for these Drew's.

    Hi ya, I’m new to your channel but not new to boots. I’ve never heard of this brand although it certainly looks like a pretty damn well made boot. I own a pair of White’s Smokejumpers and just recently picked up a pair of Nick’s Urban Loggers. I think the material ( the leather thickness to be precise ) used on the Nick’s exceeds the White’s and they come in at a pretty close price range.
    These look like a great option coming in at the price point you mentioned though 🤙

    • @seanlowkey9388
      @seanlowkey9388 Před 6 měsíci

      I wear 11 sneaker (Nike/vans) i wear iron ranger 10ee. My frank patriots are 10ee, which are built on the 55 last. My foots are 11x4.4 hope that helps. It’s important to get accurate measure of your foot. With sneakers if your wide you may go up a whole size to compensate and never even realize it’s not the true length of your foot. If you don’t know the way an iron ranger should feel, then that won’t help either. For me my iron ranger has a cavity in the tip (feels like i can hide some weed in there) but the toe creases in the correct spot ( that’s how you know you got the right size) just after the laces right before the toe cap. If you size up in iron rangers rather than going wider, then your sizes are all jacked up. Bell curves brother, you want to standardized.

    They look to be extremely high-quality boots. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Drew's boots, made in Mexico, were of a higher quality than the ones actually made in PNW. I'd only want to see them cut in half so I could be sure they were all leather, no cardboard or plastic.

Nobody asked ME to do a review, but I did one anyway; now yours pops up in my menu but forgive me if I stop short getting thru whole thing.
