Nice work,. End bearing block. If you put a fine shim between the bearings outer rims , then when tightening the centres are forced together reducing backlash.. Im just restoring a scrapyard XY table with flat slides that looks remarkably similar to what you have made, its more work than dovetailing but who can cut a 500mm dovetail.
Thanks, I don't know if it is to make a new milanium glue or to restore the one you have, but if you have a large milling machine it can be done.

I was built my headstock and I just get headstock post from scrap metal it look a bit thin so I’m concerning shack but will try the best if possible. I can’t effort like you.

In a dovetail ways configuration with the adjustment of the gib you can control lateral AND vertical play of the sliding table. In this configuration i can see how you control lateral play but how can you adjust verical play?
Yes, thanks. To control the horizontal or vertical play, a guide plate is installed on the sides, which has three grub screws that adjust it.
Я так и не понял каким образом регулируется люфт резьбы. Не могли бы вы пояснить?
Спасибо за вопрос, для регулировки люфта резьбы я использую разрезную гайку и винт, который при затягивании этой разрезной гайки разделяет расстояние каждой части гайки, заставляя ее регулировать.

Quiero mecanizar engranajes, cigueñales, árboles de levas, etc etc pero a escala muy pequeña. Es con propósito de hobby pero abordado de una manera muy seria. Entonces muy interesante si usted pudiera fabricarme un torno robusto y preciso pero MINI Metal Lathe. Y lo necesario para incluso mecanizar pequeños engranajes (cubos de 1 mm diam, Coronas de 1 mm, diametros de 3 mm por ejemplo) de todo tipo helicoidales, rectos, etc. Busco Precisión y robustes. Y quiero introducirme en este arte!!!!
Paul, con gusto le puedo fabricar un torno pequeño de alta precisión para fabricar las piezas que usted me comenta. Le cuento que yo también me inicie con este torno fabricando piezas pequeñas como piñones, ejes bujes se pueden realizar muchas cosas y con creatividad y paciencia se puede lograr hacer lo que uno desea. Допустим, клин от люфта в одной плоскости поможет, а вверх-вниз то люфт чем убирать, со временем ещё больше станет
