  • In this present day of my life of amazing discoveries of my styles inJuju music no Artiste perhaps has succeeded in stirring,accordion and talking drum møre than Folagbade Adedeji,who leads F.A. Jimmy West & His Rosy Morning Band.
    The music he provides is distinguished by rhythms of shatteringforce of instruments with meaningful compositions backed by
    many stylish traits.I
    Most of my compositions are invested with tender sentiment anddeep feelings. My parent having seen my interest and dedicationin music, forcibly put meSecondary school, after my secondaryeducation, I became a teacher for three years. In 1964 I formed
    my band at a Night Club in Ibadan and in the same year Iwas invited by Island club by Lawyer Ajose Adeogun who
    was the social Secretaryhave been in the air many times, in many hotels, in many Statesin Nigeria and I am sure many fans have enjoyed the taste of
    my rhythms.
    Jimmy West himself on vibrate guitar and vocalist of the band.The boys are very enthusiastic and musically talented withindigenous musical idiom on special band of juju music. My music grows more and more popular that my name becomeshousehold for juju music fans who call me His ExcellencyF.A. Jimmy West

    Na, proper "old school" JuJu music...more like the Ebenezer obey style.. reckon,it must be the exposures around that time... nice music.. rhythmically and instrumentally..👍

      That’s because he mentored Obey even though Obey didn’t learn music from him directly. I think he learnt from Fatai Rolling Dollar. He even gave him couple of songs like Omoniyi Omonide.
