I am trying to sleep. I have been listening to music from the past - Victor Uwaifo(r), Rex Lawson, Adeolu Akinsanya, Hubert Ogunde, Tunde Nightingale etc
    Now Wale Glorious!
The past and present merged heralding the future... Over 53 years ago l can still remember listening to him, Bola Lawal and Akosile.
From London this is Adetoye Adegbulu saying Peace, Love and Soul!😄🖤💕😍

May the gentle soul of Wale Glorious Rest In Peace. All sons & daughters of Akureland loved him. Since his demise Akure hasn't produced any renowned musician like him. What a great singer...!! Adieu...!!

The day late Wale Glorious died in November,1972, was a sad sad day in the history of Akure,i was in modern school-class-2,the whole Akure became chaotic as the news turned Akure, into sadness and public schools closed before time and everybody rushed home.Late Wale, was outstanding artiste who began his musical career in Akure, and lived in Akure throughout his musical journey to stardom.Since his death Akure never recovered fully from his loss.May his soul rest in everlasting peace, amen. He never moved away from Akure, except travelling to Lagos to record and returned back to Akure.Still he rose to the top.Wale Glorious, is an exceptional artiste who did Akure proud.Very irreplaceable artiste.

Late Wale Glorious was a legend in music industry. He made an indelible landmark which Akure sons & daughter will live to remember. He was so popular musician in the old Ondo Province in the 60s.

The sheer number of albums Wale produced in his short life is a mark of true genius. Wale dominated my childhood years and was a permanent fixture in the social life of Akure. Many thanks to Egba Alake for bringing this back to life. As a good "Oliver Twist" there are two songs I hope you can also find: "Rogbodiyan lo gbogun ti Congo" (I think by Hubert Ogunde) and "Oro Nigeria yi, k'o ma baa d'ogun" (a prophetic song warning of the impending civil war - before hostilities broke out). The singer referred to the Congo conflict "Tani o ranti ogun Congo..." I don't remember the artiste.
