Had he lived long, this guy would have formed a sturdy tripod in Juju music with Ebenezer Obey and Sunny Ade. RIP Wale Glorious.

Wale Glorious lives on and will still live on for a very long time to come.
His music was and still is, rhythmically and lyrically most touching, soullifting and inspiring.
Wale Glorious was in the superlative.
May his great Soul Rest in Peace.

Great golden old days of Akure. Bless those of us that were there to witness it. Cheers to all former OGSA products.

Yes indeed, Wale Glorious remains a great loss to Akure and Yoruba land at large. Wale was at par with I. K. Dairo at the time of his death. No other person has been able to feel the gap left in Akure's music scene since Wale's demise. Wale's music remains for ever evergreen. i was happy to listen to it today after many years.

Ha! late Wale Glorious, was an icon who was an authentic artiste that set-up his Aiyesoro Spots Band, in Akure, and lived, grew music in Akure, without moving away to Lagos, still he rose to the pinnacle of his musical career in Akure. He died due to inherited disease contagious chest-worm disease at the Akure General hospital. Thanks for shedding some light on the cause of his death. I was still in my mother's womb when he died. Ironically I was born a few months later at the same hospital where he breathed his last. Rumor was rife that his band boys were caught stealing and he committed suicide. I'm glad you sort of clarify it. His music remains evergreen, it's only sad that such a talented man died so soon at his prime. I would like to do a documentary on him, I would appreciate any lead you can give. God bless.
