That 8450 is an excellent tractor. I have a motor for that same tractor with only 1500 hrs. Just need the 8450😅

Ben, my Dad told me that the perfect scalding temperature for pigs is when you can only swipe 3 fingers 3 times in succession. If you can swipe 3 fingers 4 times in succession, it's not hot enough. I'm always interested in "the old ways". With that being said, would you elaborate on the soil temperature test you performed? How long and one cheek or two? Asking for a farmer friend
2 weeks and a long way from sprouting, my friend wonders that too. Must have really picked up a lot of acres to run 3 planters. My friend says farmers spend way too much on planters...basics of corn planting is to drive slow and steady and get off the tractor a lot...He says you get a good stand if you pay attention...Hmmm...the kids all have ADDHD or something. I guess its worth it to spend the money and drive 20 mph and play with all the tech stuff. He says other stuff , I don't think should put out all the cuss words.
