    I remember when my MSF riding instructor taught us about downshifting to 13,500 rpms in corners. Most important life lesson a new rider can learn.

    Just came across your vid! I bought my 2nd VFR after a 20 year gap. I found a 2014 with only 4K miles on it. Love it. See you ride like this on a VFR makes me wonder why you'll see so many people on CZcams slam it for it's weight, it's lack of horsepower, etc. I could NEVER ride like you but admire how well you do so. Sure wish Honda still made it. Thanks again for a really great video - Rick

      Thank you Rick very comment, yes the VFR is one of the greatest motorcycles of all time in my opinion and the handling is absolutely perfect, I did remove the centre stand and rear pillion pegs which saved a little weight but in all honesty the VFR is no heavier than any other Bike. Also in think around 110 to 130 bhp is the sweet spot of power, all these 200 bhp bike's you cannot ride to 100%

    Good lap! Nice line! Seeing such a fast lap with a bike i always wonder where you get this confidence to go full throttle even in the corners! I´m so excited to visit the ring next wednesday and thursday for the Motorrad Action Team Motorradtraining!

      When the fuel light starts flash there about 5 litres left in the tank . I've got 02 vfr loving it

    That was fun to watch. I just passed my test a few months ago and have been offered a VFR from a lad from work at a really good price, would this be ideal or a bit too much to handle? I obviously wouldn't be attempting to ride like you are but anything I should be aware of? I've been told they are a heavy bike. Thanks and a great watch!

      Wow thank you! No I think the VFR is a great Bike to learn and progress with, because when you are getting more and more experienced on the Bike, quickly small capacity bikes feel slow.

      @@P4WELpl I don't think it's nearly as harmful for that particular engine as you think. the RC45 streetbike freely revved to 12.5 and red @ 13 and for good reason. it made power there.
      I get the feeling the VFR800 (of which the engine is derived directly) can spin to 13 w/o much harm, it will just never make power there due to the intake/cam/exhaust combo.

      I have a vtec, it will run all day long without a hick up at 130+, I just never seen anyone capable of making a vtec look like a big super sport...............

    I will buy this bike soon,it will be my 2nd bike after bandit 650,whats the fuel consumption like? Any problems with rectifier/electricity?

      No real main faults to be honest, the fuel consumption is pretty good and won't differ too much from a Bandit 650, but the VFR will be quicker and much more fun!...

      Hey damanisin377 and Nurburgring Biker Blog, I'm looking into buying an 03 or an 04 VFR800 for the ABS, one-sided swingarm, and vtec. I'd like to hear your opinions as owners of the engine itself. Most VFRs I'm finding have at least 65 thousand kms on the odometer, would you think that should be considered a red flag on that bike?

      Thank you, I took the Centre stand and rear foot pegs off to save weight, it had after market exhausts, plus the common Snorkel, Pair and Flapper mod to the induction. Suspension was standard and just had EBC brake pads, The VFR is still one of the best all-round Bike's ever made!!...

      Thank you Diego, so it was a 2006 model VFR 800 with ABS which I didn't alter, I removed the Centre stand, rear foot rests, it had a titanium exhaust from the bottom up to the cans, it also had the common "Snorkel, pair and Flapper mod"....

      @@tonyaherne6491 sorry just seen this! The tyres were Michelin Pilot Power 3's, I ride around 300 Laps per year on a Bike and a few more in a Car.
      The modifications were, rear footrests and center stand removed, the air box Snorkel and flapper mod to enable cleaner revving, aftermarket lighter exhausts and that was about it...👍

      I'm not sure now but the Bike is good for 25+ miles with it on and the Nurburgring is only 12 miles so it's never a problem, just roll off the throttle a little bit earlier and carry the corner speed...

      @@bearbreakb3468 So to be honest I never touched the suspension in any way, I may have softened the rear a touch because I don't like to firm suspension either on the front or rear, I like a bit of dive when braking. I am around 90kg it my weight goes up down like a jojo! So in a year I can be anywhere from 85kg to 100kg but average around 90kg.

      @@bearbreakb3468 The only real modifications that Bike had was the rear footrest holders and centre stand were removed for weight, it had a lighter better exhaust system and I did the common snorkel, pair and flaper mod to allow it to breathe and rev better...

      So Bruno it has GPR exhausts, the rear foot pegs are removed, Hiflo panel air filter, and the common Flapper-Pair-Snorkel mod to the Airbox...👍

      @@BrunoSantos-jw3er to be honest, I've never ridden the Ducati ST4, but for me the VFR fits me like a glove! The handling is excellent, and in my opinion better than the 2014 R1 I ride...
