Phenomenal driving! I read your pinned comment regarding the pedal position. I hope you consider modifying the pedals to allow heel/toe. You can see the balance of the car change when you downshift and drag the clutch. Heel/toe will definitely help and improve stability. But you already know this...
Thx for the comment. This is one of the mod I want to do this season. This will not of course make the laptime faster, but as you said improve the stability.
You can definitely heel toe. I have an ef and heel toe on a daily basis. The spacing does force you to accually use your heel rather than tilting your foot.
I know a bit about the CRX characteristics and I am completely surprised you did not spin. There were a couple occasions of late breaking where I expected the back to overtake... butvonly understeer. Great skills, man!

Serious skills!!! Bravo!!! It is quite impressive that you can manage to stay behind and finally even overtake a car (VW Golf 4 R32 4 Motion) which has an engine basically double the size (1.6L R4 vs 3.2L V6) plus around 90 hp more (150 hp vs 240 hp) and which has all wheel drive instead of front wheel drive. The CRX VTEC EE8 is a real master peace of engineering thanks to Ayrton Senna and Honda.
The Honda CRX is almost 30 years old , 124hp ( 150hp with VTEC engine) and just 1000kg - this was one of my first cars , I still love it.Die perfekte Rennzwiebel , als VTEC zudem eine super Drehorgel ;)

What’s the suspension installed in your CRX? Superb handling during corners! How many degrees of camber? Other mods like lsd? Final drive ratio? Good job!
Nice tour... 150hp in a CRX is like 200hp integra... but it's ok, you keep on the eye the VW then he give you the chance to pass. It's fun, you got it. 💪
the CRX handled like a go-kart from the factory ... this might even be a mostly stock CRX - I loved every one I had, they also got 45+ mpg, the HF option got 55+ - wish they still made these, a super fun car to drive, hard to not smile while driving one
In 2000-2004 I delivered pizzas in a '88 CRX Si(D16a6) w/Gude "Bullfrog" camshaft, Jun lightweight flywheel(ZC), header, ect. Still got nearly 40mpg in the city, and never lost a street race to a B16a.
B16a1 or a2 is my dream. Had D16a8...made me smile every day. Modern cars are boring, not giving me feeling that I used to know. Really looking forward to buy one again...but pricing for crx's are way up now. JDM B16's have few hp more than EU
The D16A8/9 is arguably a better engine than the B16A1. 1st gen B16's have a bunch of issues. 2nd gen and up is much better though. The one you really want is the B16B.
@@dedelabinouze5110 what are the issues? I dont nkow any? The rev and run reliably for 200k. B16a2 have mo power. Yes, b16b is better but you need to make a lot of upgrades to install it and also the preis is not comparible
They're "known" (quote on quote) to have idle issues, the valve cover gasket can be leaky around the solonoids, lms issues, and the oil system isn't great. They really lack torque and the Y21 tend to be fragile. I'm gonna be honest that's the feedback i've got from them. I've had friends that had one, but i've never personally owned one. When i talk to people about swapping my ED7, they always tell me either to keep my healthy D16A9 because it's got more torque, a shorter gearing in the trans and not much HP less, or they tell me not to get an A1 and rather a 2nd gen and up, even though you've got to swap the OBD, get the cable to hydro conversion for the trans etc.. And yeah for the B16B is was just saying that it was the most desirable.
@@dedelabinouze5110 ok, thats fair, although you can say the same about any other honda motor. Gearbox is a weak place, but the engine revs 600 rpm higher. We have tested the stock b16a1, b16a2 on the track. A1 was way faster. Converting to a2 or b16b or b18c6 would be very expensive. I would go for a1 and find the lsd for it.

That's some suppurb driving diving into each turn trusting your tires wi stick where you aim.appreciate this kind of driving, he really wanted to get past that red Volkswagen although it seemed that he lost him at one point, but great driving at the finest test track in the world.

I had one too... raced a camero and he was surprised... you hand to wined the f out of 3rd and 4th to be in the powerband of 5th...

Steven Dorresteijn it would help a lot, great driving. Only thing is you gotta Rev match or heal toe. Clutch won't last long just letting it out
heel and toe rev match keeps the revs up so you dont loose grip, if you dont rev match and just let it out then you get engine brake
