My initial thoughts about RG - he can disable also Jeff, Wong, Hope Summers, X23, Death pool, Collector, Nebula, Sunspot, Patriot...if only these cards are alone in the lane before RD can be played. That seems very powerful and might shut down various of decks.
He can also shut down on reveal cards that alr happened.
There's still no good counter to get rid of Cosmo though. Echo you need to have priority and guess where they're going to play it. You can't plan on repeal because he stops them from happening. They should have just made him remove the effect without being onreveal. And that would make absorbing man less toxic as well
RedG also works against Invisible Women. Force a Modok reveal on T5 creating an accidental Hela discard.
Yes, he's good at hitting some Rogue targets and more.
At least one content creator has vision. Red guardian is exceptionally strong and underrated.

Great video! Red Guardian is also my #1 this season. I think I’m gonna save some Spotlight keys and get him with tokens, he seems worth it but we’ll see

I have been waiting anxiously for his week to come. I almost always lose to hela discard so he is very much welcome. I like that you mentioned Killmonger for the pesky 1 costs that block RG. I am looking forward to other ways people try to deal with RG and what other things you can do to maximize RG's effect. Drewberry had good arguments against RG but I still think he is very much worth getting, at least with tokens if you have the other 2 cards. At the start of the month, I would say that majority of the community are sleeping on RG and only focused on Rulk. I always thought ever since it was leaked that he would be the best of the month but now I think he is much more hyped as people realized his potential. I am afraid people might get average results after they get so hyped that they say he is mid card afterwards. On reveal cards are much more common than ongoing so it really hurts RG's potential. Sure, the -2 power is good but what everyone is after is the other effect. I would hate to see a bunch of 1-2 cost on reveal cards on my opponent's board that are blocking what I wanted to target. With that being said, I am still a firm believer if his surprise factor.

I have 3 keys and I'm hoping to have 4 by the end of the week to open for him. I have 5k tokens, but they are earmarked for the Red Hulk pinned in my shop....
I think its funny how no ones vid i've seen yet is pairing all 3 of the spotlight cards into a deck. For instance, afflict some enemy cards with high evo cards and RG then new lady deathstrike might hit way more things? Also like he said u can double abs man RG OR deathstrike maybe ( delulu world tho lmao, would be cool af though)

I just don’t have enough resources to roll on a spotlight that I have the other 2 cards in. Hitting Black Knight is also a thing both killmonger and RG in same deck wrecks BK
First of all that Lady deathstrike variant is one of the coolest ones we've gotten all year. With that said I think a lot of people are going to be sleeping on red guardian and I'm definitely going to try to get him.

Red guardian silencing angela in this meta is a win
What's great is decks like Silky Smoove have multiple good targets for RG - you get great value from hitting Angela, Kraven, Elsa, Kitty, and more. And you're hitting most of those targets right on turn 3 curve too.
