San Ignacio was absolutely amazing. I loved that town and all the cool ruins around the area.
Agreed 100%!
You two have nailed it with this adventurous tour! Caracol reminds me of pyramids in Egypt but blended with green, there is a lot of familiarities! The waterfalls seems so much to experience too. Making chocolate is something I would love to try one day! How fun! Thanks for the suggestions on the food spots, as you know we love exploring different types of food! OMG Iguanas! I can't believe you played with them!
Yes this tour really made us appreciate iguanas so much more. Such gentle creatures. We can’t wait to see the pyramids in Egypt. Hopefully next year!
Its really beautiful to see y'all ancient people of the Americas enjoying y'all culture, all Aboriginal Americans (African-Americans aint African) should visit their ancient lands. The Seminole tribe are in-fact ancient Mayan, Yamasee tribe in Southern Alabama and Mississippi is Mayan also, we are ("Black" Americans) the ancient ones of the Americas. When we look upon the faces of the Belizean dark ppl those are the Mayan ppl, ancient relatives of southern and east coast Aboriginal Americans aka Black Folks (Maya-Mi=Miami, Miamisburg, Ohio (Look it up Ancient Mayan ruins in Ohio its in 'the Hood', Look up Maya Rd, Miami, FL). Awesome video, great itinerary.....!!!!!!! Thank You.
Thank You
Great information and well presented. 👍🏼
You guys look like you are having fun and It is so amazing you are sharing your great tips. Thank you so much, this really helps me plan my trip.
Awesome! Glad it was helpful! Enjoy Belize!
This was a very enjoyable vlog! We really enjoyed the way your present and I looooved all the historical sites! I now how to add another place to my never ending to do list!
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it! And we can so relate! Our list is never ending as well!
Very nice
This looked like such a fun adventure! Love the way you shared the history as well as your experiences, crazy the way human sacrifices were made in that part of the world.
The waterfall swim looked really fun but yes those tours are pricey, glad to see alternative options.
The food looked so good and affordable 😋We love the umbrella hack too, great for rain or shine! The lizard on your hat was adorable!🦎
Umbrellas for the win! If only we could stop breaking/losing them!
Well done video! Thank you
Glad you liked it! Enjoy Belize!
I wars there to and this are very beautiful places 😅 I love Belize ❤ and I come from Germany, best greetings!
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed San Ignacio!
Wow! I love your videos! I want to go to Belize and Guatemala next year!
We enjoyed both! We loved the Belize Cayes and found Guatemala to be one of the most interesting countries in Central America. We’ll have more Guatemala videos coming soon too!
Great video! Wish we could have shown you some of our favorite local spots while you were here. Can't wait to see what's next. Hopefully guatemala.
Yes indeed! Flores, Guatemala will be one of our next ones.
Love the ancient ruins! But the whole tour looked great!
Oooh, chocolate making! I’d love to do that! Especially the tasting part of the tour 😅
The food and drinks at guava limb looks amazing!!!
Eeek, 40 minutes to use the atm 😳 people must be super patient over there 😅
Yup, that Ferry sure is unique!
The views from up at the ruins are incredible!
Yes, they were quite patient and were not surprised at all by the ATM lines. It was normal for them, but it made me realize some of conveniences I take for granted in my regular life. Access to hundreds of ATMS is not the case every where.
I love visiting ruins on my travels and these ones looks pretty great. Good tip about the umbrella - gotta have that rain and sun protection. The iguana hotel was so fun! I'd love to visit there. Kendra - they made you work for your boat trip!! 🤣 And David razzing you in the background 😂😂
Lol, the whole ferry joined in! Evidently, my rowing skills are too slow! Ha! 😅
Hey guys this was such an exciting episode...caves..waterfalls..cacao and iguanas...I would want to do it all🙌😍
Great tip about the ATMs, you could be waiting a loong time if you go on a Friday.
You did a great job sharing the history along with your personal experiences.
Thank you so much 😁! Central America is really pushing our adventure muscles!
@@LucasWorldTravel yea 🙌😁
wow
Love your videos and pacing :) vegetarian here so I appreciate your food suggestions ❤
Awesome! Glad our veggie selections were helpful! Enjoy Belize!
Good stuff :)
Thanks Chris!
I’m in Belize now! First excursion is the ATM caves and I’m a rad nervous for the water portion but I know there’ll be life vests, then the next day I’ll do the Guatemala day trip and the last day will be AJAW, iguanas and cahal pech!
Sounds like a nice plan! Enjoy!
what do they do for the Guatamaula day trip?
It provides shuttles across the border and shuttles after the border to the Mayan ruins in Guatemala and then to a local restaurant and shuttles back across the border to Belize
Excellent information. Where did you stay in San Ignacio? Downtown? Thanks very much!
Yes we stayed downtown in city center. It was a good base.
Very wonderful presentation with lots of good information. David, do realize how lucky you are to have such a beautiful and charming wife!🐝🐝
Aww thanks David! 🥰 I’ll be sure to let my David know what you said!
Wow far more expensive than I would have guessed. But still worth it.
We were shocked by the prices as well, but they really were one of a kind experiences.
Please let me know how many days do you suggest to stay in San Ignacio (4-5 days maybemore) because I want explore another place
Thank you
It all depends on how many day trips you want to do. 4 days in good to arrive, explore the town, ATM Cave, Xunantunich, and Caracol.
Could you give me your advice on which Island has the best shopping/street food/restaurants between Ambergris and Caulker? We are going Sept 4-12 and staying on both Islands. Thanks so much!
We liked Caye Caulker the best. You can see our video with all our recommendations here! czcams.com/video/fvS8123e4iQ/video.html Enjoy!
What would you do when you go to San Ignacio? Would you take one of these tours? Let us know in the comments below and be sure to check out our Ambergris Caye and Caye Caulker travel guide here! czcams.com/video/fvS8123e4iQ/video.html
Wow. That guy on the ferry get a good arm workout everyday.
Lol! Tell me about it!
We are thinking of having our hotel, Cahal Pech Village Resort, pick us up from the airport. The cost for the 2 of us is quoted as $112.50. That seems pretty steep, but the convenience could be worth it. We are contemplating returning to Belize City via a cheaper route (bus?). Do you have any tips or logistical considerations? We will be connecting with water taxi to get to Caye Caulker.
Yes, that’s about right for a 2 hour taxi ride. We took the bus without any terrible and your hotel can tell you where to catch the bus. It’s a 15 minute walk from the bus station to the Belize Water taxi. You can use Google Maps to walk there or take a taxi.
Been a while we haven’t been in touch, hope you guy are doing good 👍🏻
Yes indeed! Hope you guys are well in Malaysia!
Yes indeed! Hope you guys are well in Malaysia!
Yes indeed! Hope you guys are well in Malaysia!
Awwww I'm so sad that Big Rock Falls was a little dirty.
Aww I'm sorry. Just a TIP when coming back to Belize it's $5 bzd dollars from San ignacio to succotz (the ferry) when going to Xunantunich.
I'm sorry they were trying to scam you...but I'm glad you guys took the bus which is always much cheaper. Patience is always key. Hehehe
It had just rained very heavily so it was a bit muddy. We didn’t mind one bit though.
