Magician's Red was the first Stand to fully materialize it's form in Jojo. Avdol used a fire punch on Geb because it would had evaporated it, it was shown later that Magician's Red managed to evaporate a bit of Geb and was shown to had singed one of N'doul's arm
he can suffocate stands users with redo bindo (red bind) to the point where they cant use their stand and presumably would work on other non stand using opponents making them lose the ability to fight back
I think that Avdol is the strongest user in the Stardust Crusaders group before Jotaro learns to stop time. Probably his strength it's why Araki tried to kill him so fast or often puts him in situation where his stand can't use his fully potential
@@whoisheiforgothisname2103 Jotaro fought a lot of people, but Kakyoin helped defeat Lovers (everyone else was stumped), Hanged Man (Polnereff would haves died without him), Tower of Grey (everyone was stumped here too), and figured out DIO’s ability. He’s not the most powerful, but his utility is unmatched.
The fact that Magician’s Red dodged any of Silver Chariot’s attacks is VERY impressive. Silver Chariot was able to hit an enemy moving faster than the speed of light.
He could've had one more day in the sun if he was the one to beat The Sun. Jotaro got lots of fights, and didn't need it. Since The Sun was already being played as a bit of a joke, it could have been funny if Avdol was immune, as he was used to hotter. Then he could've beaten its user by using Crossfire Hurricane Special as a long distance Stand Rush, since he's the only one who could do that.
That's a good point. Avdol is smart, and I would have expected him to think of something like that. Then again if I remember right, The Sun was also shooting heat blasts at them. Even though Avdol is used to heat, he can still burn to death if he caught fire.
That goes for Avdol too. He had only one major battle, barely any backstory, missing for a large part of the series, and dies twice to save the main character (Polnareff). We never had even a single episode focused on Avdol, even Iggy got one. Araki seemed to dislike him or at least have no idea what to do with him. Such a waste, makes me sad
@@Davesothoth I read somewhere that he didn't like drawing Magician's Red but it was already too late to change the design completely, so he just didn't use Avdol. As a black teen, I was so happy to see another black character as part of the main group and be actually badass, but it is what it is. Araki clearly likes the powers tho, since he made Speed King later and it is literally almost the same as Avdol, just with a different design and stuff

He can melt water guys since he can burn metal (it's logic) the reason his fire got wiped in his fight with jotaro is because he wasn't going all out (according to his own words)
Honestly if he lived long enough to fight deal they probably would’ve found out that he could stop time a lot sooner would be pretty obvious with the idea that you control fire
So what i'm hearing is that Magicians Red is stronger then Star platinum and Silver Chariot Making that Magicians is the strongest stand in his team. I can see why he was killed off. He would have beat Dio if he don't die.

Araki did Avdol dirty. Vanilla Ice: -Magician's Red has speed near comparable to Star Platinum. He could push Polnareff and Iggy out of the way, and move himself too. -Avdol could've easily destroyed the mansion stairs, making it hard for Vice to get to them. -Joseph obviously told him about Vampires. Vice didn't even know he was one. Avdol could've destroyed the blinds and killed Vice easily DIO: Move to Avdol and punch him? - No, DIO would get incinerated by the flames in his area. Knives? - No, those would be easily destroyed, even at close range. Road Roller? - Instead of having to punch a steam roller, Avdol could just burn it up. Instead of having to aim for DIO's bad leg, he could just burn him up completely. Magician's Red was Underused.

Avdol is the most experienced Stand Fighter. If he swings on GEB its because it would kill it. One thing Avdol is not, is a fool. Only reason water extinguished him against Jotaro was because he was using his weakest moves
Very late to this series but me and a friend talk about magicians red constantly and avdol underused it alot. As stated he can control how hot the flames get and as far as he knew they had no limit to how hot they could go.
While true that Magician's Red is far more powerful than shown in story, the ridiculous amount of speed Silver Chariot should possess (Faster than light by a wide margin to create afterimages) makes it even more busted.

Avdol could've fucked up DIO tbh if he was aware of time stop, and didnt die so early. If he can manipulate flames, Idk why he couldn't make a cloak around himself to make an effective defense. Its established that Joseph's Hamon cloak deterred DIO, as an effective strategy and in phantom blood, fire acted to enhance Jonathan punches against DIO. Granted both of these, time stop could be rendered useless if his defense was strong enough in a fisticuff match.
Fire is not Vampires weakness. Dio walked thru a blazing inferno and healed faster than it could burn. But he would still be lethal given he can melt steel beams in less than a second
Nah dude, sliver chariot was going full force, it took the armour off and everything, he was pulling off after images and was at his best, especially with the vampire bud which kind of "powers up" the user. Magicians Red just had more variety and versatility. Plus it has range

However most of Magician's Red attacks don't have much effect since they were shown to be easily deflected by both Silver Chariot's speed and precision, not to mention it's able to tank because of it's armor. Stating that Magician's Red "has more "versatility" simply isn't true if you're going to apply the fact that a stand with much better speed, durability, precision was able to out perform Magician's Red through out most of the fight and not to mention flat out deflect attacks. Let's be honest Avdol won because he had just "planted" a hidden cross fire hurricane beneath the ground is literally just bullshit, it's smart sure, but still bullshit. It's Avdol's equivalent too Star Finger in which it came out of nowhere, also there's nothing to imply that vampire buds heighted stand user's strength or overall performance, if anything it should technically make them weaker since the user isn't their "full-selves" at all. I know I'm over a year late with this reply but I just had to throw in this statement.

Jotaro and Polnareff got too many fights, and the others got too few. Avdol literally only had one major battle
