I love how positive and encouraging Mel was the whole time. That’s someone I’d want on my team.
I found it annoying.

The way she said "sorry, Desky" when she thought the other team was going to win 🥺 such a wholesome friendship
Swot means someone who studies a lot, therefore Desky.
Me, another American (who studies Welsh), thought she said his nickname was "Dysgu" or "learn" in Welsh. Was clearly overthinking it...
The drug mule was fucking iconic.
Best series so far!! Desky + Mel, Noel & Joe, Loli. They're absolutely lovely characters. The chemistry between each of them is what makes this one so lovely.
2nd best would be the one with Mortimer, Sally, Mark, Nish, and Aisling! The loose chaotic energy from Bob & Sally. Mark who put it all ended up in disappointment but won our heart. The incompetency of Nish, and Aisling being Aisling.
To me it's the other way round, series 5 is my favourite, but this was a close second. Chaotic and wholesome at the same time, it really worked.

I didn't like that he was bullied in this show. I felt so bad for him.
My favourite season of Taskmaster ever. Mel and Hugh
I have to say, people on this show worry about their career after, but honestly if I see anything with them in it I'll watch it at this point. They're all such loveable people, crazy or mean or silly as they've been at one point or another. They're all so sweet in their own ways. I genuinely can't remember the last thing I watched where I loved every person on it. It's so nice to see people mostly having a good time laughing at each other and themselves.

This doesn't have anything to do with the video but it's the last one you posted, so WHERE IS SEASON 8 EPISODE 9?? It's Wednesday. You can't lead me on with Wednesday releases and then NOT UPLOAD ON WEDNESDAY. We were fine when you went from Thursday to Wednesday because it was a little treat to have one early. But THIS? My Wednesday is ruined. I had grown to expect Taskmaster before my Wednesday class. Now I have nothing and I have to scrape little rocks in a classroom without any new Taskmaster replaying in my mind. How dare you. Shame on you, little task man. SHAME.
Edit: Now I don't know about you, but where I come from, IT'S THURSDAY NOW. There'd better be some kind of emergency (but like a false alarm kind of emergency because I certainly don't wish any harm on y'all). But there are precious little excuses to be made, here. Tick tock, little beardy puzzle boy!
