True, though I'm only 1/16th Apache, people have often wondered why I never flinch at loud bangs, snarling dogs, et cetera. My only answer is "How is flinching going to help?"
It seems "en vogue" to claim native heritage for everyone in these days...So many tell they are native, it cannot be just by numbers...And so proud I would not be, when I knew that my ancestors kidnapped and tortured terribly babies and women, hel slaves, and treated their own women like servants...dirty, naive savages, always on warpath raiding innocent families, killing babies, hanging them by a wood through the mouth on trees in front of their mothers, selling white women to other tribes or mexicanos...they were just like beasts...Laughing about the pain of there tortured captives...etc. etc. Read books, and You will learn...Ah, I forgot all the rapings, thats cuz the books from those days that I read, eyewitness stories, did never write about sexuality, but the witness or the victim was sure, that the readers knew what really happened ..
@@karlawatson7699 Me too...But You know, most native tribes gave a shit about race...Just to ensure their survival, they adopted captives, whites, blacks, mexicans...When Quanah Parker gave up and went in the reservation with his tribe, 30% of those comanche were not natives by blood...they had whites, a few blacks, and a lotta mexicans in his tribe, considering themselves as full members of the comanche tribe...and himself, his mother was Cinthia Anne Parker, the comanche stole her in a raid on the Parker Fort! They killed all, and kidnapped her and her sister... So the race question has not so much to say...for the natives... They did not really like blacks, because they thought blacks are cowards and stupid..And they called the black soldiers "buffalo soldiers" because of the curly hair and they made the experience, that their arrows did not go through the heads of the negroes..So they told their warriors to shoot them in the hearts.. Who knows, maybe they were right?

👋🏻 Hello, how are things doing in your area? Are they reducing quarantine restrictions in your area yet? The Governor has loosened restrictions where I live; however, we are still not at 100% capacity. I hope by the end of next month, things will be back to full capacity. Right now, restaurants and stores can have about 75% customer base, bars and the theme park are at 50% customer base right now. There is talk about opening schools at the end of next month too. They did reopen the BMVs and some other government owned buildings too. Anyways, I hope everything is going well in your area.

I am Chippewa from the Swan Creek tribe (we lost our Federal recognition awhile back but we are trying to get it back). I just want to keep abreast of what is going on around country and update people on what is going on in my neck of the woods. They have decided to reopen the school in the small town that I live in and they are giving parents the option of either having their children return to the school to be taught in a classroom or to have their children be taught online. The local grocery store made it mandatory for customers to wear face masks while shopping in their store. I have been keeping in touch with a friend of mine, he is Little River Ottowa, who updates me on what is going on in Michigan. He said that all fairs and festivals have been shut down and that the governor enacted a law in which people MUST wear a mask in public areas or if they are at home with abunch of people (example: family reunion) or they will get fined $500.00. How are things in your area? I heard that the Diné got hit hard with the COVID-19 virus, but I understand that just because they got hit doesn't necessarily mean that everyone got hit with this virus. Anyways, what type of restrictions do you have in your area? Is it like at my local grocery store that you must wear a mask in order to shop there? Have they opened restaurants or other stores yet? What about the school? Yes, I am right there with you...I just want things to go back to normal. It has been in the 90s here for the past 2 weeks and I have a hard time believing that this virus has lasted this long.
