I know there has been criticism to the casting of Azula , Mai and Ty Lee . I know there were some toxic Avatar fans who called them "too chubby" for the role which annoyed me a lot. I don't think personally they were poor casting choices. Mai was a character in the animation that I particularly liked a lot, but I don't think the actress they picked here is a bad choice. If you google pictures of the actress, she could look a lot more like Mai. I really have no problem with how they did Ty Lee here. And as for Azula, a character I personally always did like a lot , I think they got a good actress for her too. You can see the Azula moments are there, the actress could pull it off. She seems talented enough, I think people should give it time and not judge too soon. As for the episode, I agree with it feeling slow. Had the same opinion. I did feel it was interesting to blend certain storylines.
Man you know I love your channel Shane, but I think your kids are way too distracted with their appearance. Like damn, your daughter spent the whole reaction messing with her hair. And your son too. Just trying to be a little constructive here. It’s distracting and also looks like they’re not paying attention to anything.
People react in there own way. Just because they aren't over the top like other reacters doesn't mean they aren't getting the info the show provides. I think there reaction(s) was fine.
I thought the blending of storylines was well done.
