Wonderfully played. I played this for my audition into Hartt School Of Music at University of Hartford from where I got my music/classical piano degree. Accents were different on some parts but again wonderfully played. He’s one of my favorite composers of the romantic period. I also did my sr thesis on Debussy where I analyzed his book of Preludes I & II. Thanks for sharing.

Debussy is not from romantic period!
      He is from impressionist period

Great performance! You played with great clarity within the notes and I love how 1:50 to the end felt magical with a sense of child like wonderment. I really like how debussy ends the piece as well it truly feels like an ending that was especially composed for children! Overall that was awesome!

@@themagikarp9676 that’s honestly amazing to hear and i agree, when you have great passion, you can easily learn pieces. did you pick the piece out yourself or were you assigned it? i probably should’ve asked that because i wouldn’t think you’d be assigned that piece in your first year, but i forgot the possibility of you probably picking the piece out yourself.

    • @judyp3801

@@spoiledeggnog I actually auditioned with this piece. It depends on your skill level. I started at 8 and attending the preforming arts high school before going on to Hartt School of Music. And yes if you go to school for music or any art etc they do push you that hard. Otherwise I would not be a virtuoso. But people have different goals so.
