    After I saw the transcription for guitar by the great Marcus Tardelli,I felt this piece more slowly,to feel the beauty of the lines.Thank you very much for this tutorial. You´re great!

    my former piano teacher used to say: for the final Très animé section you must imagine to get angrier and angrier until the very last notes where you ideally throw away the music book and shut the piano lid :D (btw in fact this seems to be exactly Debussy's allusion here)

    What a wonderful playing 👍
    Many many thanks for sharing 🙂🙂
    How about a tutorial (just like your Brahms 51 Exercises tutorial) about Beethoven's "32 Variations in C-Minor"?
    That would be fantastic 🤗🙂

    Indeed a very good idea (I always do and teach it that way also) from 1:40 on to play a chord with one note left and three notes right, and not as the score indicates two notes left and two notes right. This way it's more easy to play and the melody can be stretched out better. A very valuable CZcams channel for pianists as well teachers you have. Compliments for that.

    Whenever i see such an amazing performance of a piece I ask myself - can an adult beginner ever play somewhat "close" to that ?
    I've only been playing for 3,5 years (started with 24), so there is obviously still massive room for improvement. But what about in 10 years ?
    non the less. I really like that you showcase the piece before actually teaching it. Great video !

      Surely, I have adult beginner students your age who are able to play it, you can do it much sooner than in 10 years with some time and practice!

    Possibly one of the best performances of Doctor Gradus I have seen. You have very fast hands. Are you a concert pianist, just out of interest?

      🤔 what is “concert” pianist?

    • @angusrobertsonpianist
      @angusrobertsonpianist Před 10 měsíci +1

      @@DenZhdanovPianist Well,a concert pianist is someone who regularly performs as a soloist in concerts. They are usually,or at least, often,of very high standard. I just wondered if you were, that was all. You seem of a high standard.

      @angusrobertsonpianist my cv and event schedule is easily accessible so I guess it’s easy to decide whether I qualify or not, but I don’t treat such labels seriously, because there are so many pianists who perform regularly but badly, and vise versa.

    Great performance. I much prefer the slower tempos. Ivan Moravec has the best recorded version ever in my opinion. The first few bars of his rendition just make you melt. European culture at its very finest. czcams.com/video/qShZ_WeWP_8/video.html

      Nice interpretation!
      I will play in this tempo when I will be 80!
