After seeing spoilers, I was sure it would be a skip month for me. Surprisingly, they had The Lion Women of Tehran and that was my pick. I was excited to see Lisa Wingate’s new novel, Shelterwood so I picked that as an add-on.
Just here scoping it out!! If Honey wasn’t also “salacious” I would be all about it, but based on the cover and blurb that’s the main point, and not something I love to read about. lol I kinda like the cover and love the 90s music theme though! Darn.
I think it goes without saying that I either skip or choose the Lit Fic....haha. I realized the author of Margo has Money Troubles also wrote The Knockout Queen, which was supposed to be great....so went with that one. I love the cover of her on the couch....I'm with you on the ugly cover of Honey. Blech.
Katherine Center is coming to StL soon, and I haven’t read any of her books before, but considering going to see her and purchase Rom-Commers for the book signing! Maybe I should read The Bodyguard first and make sure it’s for me… 😂

I got Honey because it sounds great and I’ve really been enjoying the contemporary fiction genre. I also added on Jackpot Summer and Swan Song. Other books I’ve read by Hilderbrand have been really enjoyable 😊
None of the main picks sound good to me😢This is a skip month for me, for sure. They just don’t give off Summer reading to me. It seems like the ADD ONS are better than the MAIN PICKS. The HONEY book reminds me of Mariah Carey who was really at the top of her game in the 90’s and had a song called Honey.
Jackpot Summer was on my radar too Gwen! Upset that it wasn't featured as a main pick😐 Also disappointed that Talent For Murder is #3 in a series. Thanks for the video Gwen! And for always sharing this with us all !🩷

I picked three but missed that Rom-Commers was an add on. Ended up just pre-ordering from Amazon which is fine.

Hmmmm I’m like halfway interested in some of these, not jumping up and down but I’m sure I’ll pick something so I can get 1 or 2 of the add ons 🤔
