Hi Cassie! I just found your videos and this is SO helpful, you have no idea. Do you have any other videos up where you paint the full side? I've been struggling with this with (a) making a mess and (2) not getting a full gloss effect and wondering if you had anything up already that I might have missed. Thank you!
Cassie you have inspired me to try my hand at using acrylic blank.! Thanks so much for this fantastic video!
That’s amazing! Congratulations! Of course! ❤️
Oh.. very good .🌻👍

Beautiful! Do you recommend adding a coating to the paint to keep it from scratching? I love these so much!
Hi Robyn! You can totally add a thin coat of polycrylic to the back to keep the paint from scratching! Thank you so much for watching! ❤️
@@CassieCouncil thank you! 🤗❤️
@@CassieCouncil Hello!! do you think mod podge would work the same also?
It might! I’ve never used Mod Podge before, but I have seen others use it! It’s definitely worth a try!
Hi loved this tutorial! you explained everything so well, I'm going to start off by making little circle keychains. Just had a quick question did you pay for those fonts separately? I have Cricut design space and can't find those fonts. and I loved them!
Thank you so much! I use Creative Fabrica for all of my fonts! I pay a monthly fee to access their site! I have a discount link for them in the description box if you'd like to check them out too!
Hi Cassie
I’m loving your videos and tutorials and I was wondering what it is you use between the acrylic rounds when you send them, looks like tissue paper but I’m not sure. Many thanks
Thank you Tracy! It’s parchment paper! I cut it down to 4x4 inch squares ❤️
Do you recommend making sample acrylic signs or use pictures of similar items to market what your business will sell?
Hi Nicolette! I would say to always make sample items if you can! It gives you practice at making that item and then you can take beautiful photos that will be original to your shop only! Thank you for watching! ❤️
Thank you! Going to do it for a friend! Do you not have to seal the paint at the back?
Thank you! I hope it turns out great! Yes, you can seal with Polycrylic!
Thank you for the video. Approximately what width and height did you make your fonts?
Of course! Most of them are a little less than 3 inches (width) by a 1.5 inches (height). It really does depend on the length of the words though!
Do you sticker the vinyl directly.on the painted side or the side at the back (where u removed the protective layer)
I apply the vinyl to the unpainted side (the back)!
Hi Cassie, are these intended for use when photographing the baby at each of the monthly milestones? If so, how or where would you suggest they be displayed? Thank you!
Hello! Yes, they are intended to be used as photo props for baby photos each month! They can also be used during pregnancy to document month by month! ❤️
I’ve seen most people just lay them next to the baby and take a photo or have the baby hold it!
When you paint - do you do multiple coats when you paint the whole round? If I do one or two, it looks good unless I hold it up to light and then you can see the brush strokes. Not sure If I should keep going until it is totally opaque? Also, if you get some paint on the edges...do you go back and scrape it off? Thank you for teaching! Your videos are so enjoyable.
Thank you so much! ❤️ I usually do 2 coats! I also use really good, thick paint and that helps a lot too! I use the brands Folkart and Valspar. For the paint on the edges, I just use my fingernail or a sharp edge of scissors to gently knock off any paint there! I hope this helps!
@Cassie Council Thank you! I ended up just binging your videos yesterday and learned so much. Your videos are so relaxing. I really enjoy watching your process!
Does the vinyl go on the painted side, or the other side? Thanks
Hi Heather! The paint goes on the back side and the vinyl goes on the front! I hope this helps! ❤️
Thank you!
Which transfer tape do you use?
Hi! Here is the link! amzn.to/3yJQwAr
Hi! I currently bought a cricut maker and i wanted to know what blade did you use
Hello! I use the premium fine point blade! It’s just the regular blade that comes with the cricut!
Hello! Do you skip sealing the painted surface? Is it not necessary?
Hello! Yes, I seal with Polycrylic! ❤️
What type of vaspar paint did u buy?
I bought the Valspar paint sample in the color Hopsack!
Hi, what do you seal the paint with?
Hello! I use Polycrylic!
Which setting did you cut on?
I use the permanent vinyl setting ❤️
hi can I use spray clear coat on the back?
Hi Ann, I’ve never tried the spray clear coat but I’ve heard it’s great to try!
@@CassieCouncil thank you!!
Can you only use acrylic paint?
I've only used acrylic paint, but I'm sure other types of paint are worth a try as well!
Do you need to seal the paint in the back from chipping?
Yes! I seal with Polycrylic!
How do you seal it without it getting streaky? Do you only seal the paint side?
@xionglm87 yes! Only seal the painted side!
@@CassieCouncil ok thanks! How do you seal it without showing streak lines?
hey there
could you please advice me on how to bring both the words together using the attach button on the bottom right because when I try doing it ,it doesn't merge.
Hello! Try using the weld tool ❤️
How do you avoid it being see through after painting? And how to not see the steak of the paint brush?
I use high quality paint and do 2 coats! The brands I use are Folkart and Valspar! ❤️
@@CassieCouncildid you use a flat, satin or semi-gloss paint?
Hello :) was that just one coat of paint?
Hi! I typically just do one coat of paint but sometimes if I am using a thinner paint, I will go back and do a second coat so that the brush strokes are not peeking through!
@@CassieCouncil thank you 🤍
Hello I followed all of the instructions but once I attached all of the numbers and months and clicked make it, it’s saying that my image is too large and to either continue with a larger mat or cancel, but I tried following all of the measurements for the fonts correctly. Do you know why it’s doing that? Thank you
Hi! You may need to move each of them closer together and click "attach" so that they will all stay in place when you're going to send it to the Cricut to cut. I put mine super close together to save on vinyl and it helps me cut more at one time! I hope this helps!
@@CassieCouncil thank you! I ended up figuring it out, I put them all in a square shape and then erased the square just to know how much space I have!
